A Good Modern Season For Me! + Rebellion Presale: Purchase Cases Cost Calculation Update
In today's post:
- I share my thoughts and my evaluations on the season 120 that I played in the Modern Format.
- I share updated calculation of total cost and cost per pack of some purchase cases related to the Rebellion Presale that will start in about 2 days.
A Good Modern Season For Me!
Yesterday October 15, 2023 ended season number 120 of Splinterlands .
It was a season in which I always played in the Gold leagues and finished the season with a rating of 2750 points which allowed me to place 70 on the Leaderboard Gold of the Modern Format.
Season 120 was a positive season for me although it was not as good as season 119 where I had better results overall.
The most positive note that I recorded in the recently concluded season was the increase in the total SPS tokens that I earned as a result of my battle victories.
In season 120 I earned 605.04 SPS as the total reward of battles won compared to 562.74 SPS in season 119.
I increased my gain in SPS tokens per battle win by +0.3030 SPS compared to the previous season.
My seasonal win rate remained almost the same compared to the previous season.
I played fewer battles than the previous season and got a slightly lower win rate: -0.55%
After four consecutive seasons in which I recorded an increase in the dollar value of my total seasonal reward in season 120 I recorded a decrease in value: $19.72 -> $14.45

I really like all the Soulbound legendary cards but unfortunately I only found one soulbound legendary card during season 120: Sorriel The Bale.
However, I am happy because I made progress in accumulating and upgrading soulbound cards:
- Common Regular: 40% -> 43%
- Common Gold: 14%
- Rare Regular: 34% -> 36%
- Rare Gold: 14%
- Epic Regular: 22% -> 24%
- Epic Gold: 3%
- Legendary Regular: 9% -> 10%
- Legendary Gold: 6%

During season 120 I continued to increase the battle strength of my card collection usable in Modern Format and achieved two upgrade goals:
- POSSIBILUS THE WISE: level 1 -> level 3
- IGOR DARKSPEAR: level 3 -> level 4
I also added a new card to my collection: Oaken Behemoth level 1
Rebellion Presale: Purchase Cases Cost Calculation (Update)
In just over 2 days, the Rebellion Presale will begin (October 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM ET/18:00 UTC)
I have summarized the main information of the Rebellion Presale in a table.
In the post that I published 4 days ago, I shared the main information of the Rebellion Presale and calculated the cost per pack based on the three accepted payment methods and also calculated the total dollar cost of the purchase cases that allow for purchase bonuses.

Compared to four days ago the value of DEC tokens and VOUCHER tokens has increased and so today I have again made calculations of the costs to be incurred to participate in the Rebellion Presale based on the market values of today October 16, 2023.

In the image below you can see the current market values of DEC tokens and VOUCHER tokens.
Four days ago the most convenient purchase method was the use of 4000 DEC + 5 VOUCHER per pack and even today this is the most convenient purchase method but compared to 4 days ago the cost per pack in dollars has increased: 3.6649$ -> 3.9215$
If the value of DEC tokens and VOUCHER tokens were to remain as they are today those who purchase 100 packs during the Presale will incur a cost per pack = $3.7440
With 100 packs purchased you will receive:
- 10 Grimbardun Smith Neutral Rare cards guaranteed (chance Gold Foil per card: 4%)

Splinterlands is my favorite blockchain game and I will be purchasing Rebellion packs and/or Rebellion cards to increase the battle strength of my card collection but I have not yet decided if I will participate in the presale or wait for the general sale.
My decision will depend:
- on the value of DEC tokens when the presale will start
- on the value of VOUCHER tokens when the presale begins
- on comparing the cost of Rebellion packs with the market value of packs from previous editions that have or may in the future have a similar number of packs in circulation as Rebellion packs.
- from the evaluation of the possible future market value of Promo cards distributed to presale participants.
I will share my final decision in my next post and when the presale will be a few hours away or when the presale will be a few hours started.
I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, hope that bots will be eliminated completely from Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my collection of usable cards in Modern Format where there are no bots, and look forward with much excitement to the start of lands phase 1.5 and the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

- condivido il calcolo aggiornato del costo totale e del costo per pacco di alcuni casi di acquisto relativi alla Rebellion Presale che inizierà tra circa 2 giorni.
Una buona stagione nel Modern Format!
Ieri 15 ottobre 2023 è terminata la stagione numero 120 di Splinterlands .
E' stata una stagione in cui ho giocato sempre nelle leghe Gold e ho terminato la stagione con un punteggio di rating di 2750 punti che mi ha permesso di posizionarmi al posto 70 della Leaderboard Gold del Modern Format.
La stagione 120 è stata una stagione positiva per me anche se non è stata positiva come la stagione 119 in cui ho ottenuto risultati complessivamente migliori.
La nota più positiva che ho registrato nella stagione da poco conclusa è stato l'aumento del totale dei token SPS che ho guadagnato grazie alle mie vittorie in battaglia.
Nella stagione 120 ho guadagnato 605.04 SPS come ricompensa totale delle battaglie vinte rispetto a 562.74 SPS della stagione 119.
Ho incrementato il mio guadagno in token SPS per vittoria in battaglia di +0.3030 SPS rispetto alla stagione precedente.
Il mio win rate stagionale è rimasto quasi uguale rispetto alla stagione precedente.
Ho giocato meno battaglie rispetto alla stagione precedente e ho ottenuto un win rate leggermente inferiore: -0.55%
Dopo quattro stagioni consecutive in cui ho registrato un aumento del valore in dollari della mia ricompensa totale stagionale nella stagione 120 ho registrato una diminuzione di valore: 19.72$ -> 14.45$

Mi piacciono tanto tutte le carte leggendarie Soulbound ma purtroppo ho trovato solo una carta leggendaria soulbound durante la stagione 120: Sorriel The Bale.
Sono comunque contento perchè ho fatto dei passi in avanti nell'accumulo e potenziamento delle carte soulbound:
- Common Regular: 40% -> 43%
- Common Gold: 14%
- Rare Regular: 34% -> 36%

- dalla valutazione del possibile futuro valore di mercato delle carte Promo distribuite ai partecipanti alla presale
Condividerò la mia decisione finale nel mio prossimo post e quando mancheranno poche ore all'inizio della presale oppure quando la presale sarà da poche ore iniziata.
Io continuo a pormi obiettivi di crescita su Splinterlands, spero che i bots siano eliminati completamente da Splinterlands, continuo ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format dove non ci sono i bots e aspetto con molta eccitazione l'inizio della fase 1.5 delle lands e le versioni completamente giocabili di Genesis League Soccer e Soulkeep che espanderanno l'ecosistema di Splinterlands

Nice rewards and you got a legendary card. That is quite nice. I also want to buy 100 packs but I don't know if I will bother or not. I don't exactly have as many funds to buy it right at the start and I might take out some HBD from savings later to get the required funds though.
I am still undecided and still evaluating but I think I will either buy a much smaller number of packs or I will enter the general sale especially if DEC tokens and VOUCHER tokens continue to increase in value.

Io sono ancora indeciso e sto ancora valutando ma penso di comprare un numero molto piccolo di pacchi oppure entrerò nella general sale.
Più ci penso e più mi convinco che forse sarà meglio entrare nella general sale o comprare le carte dal mercato.
Tra l'altro con la modifica al meccanismo degli airdrop comprare i pacchi dal mercato o da Splinteralands sarà quasi indifferente a partire dalla general sale perchè quello che conterà sarà tenere carte e/o pacchi senza venderli
La carta con il cinghiale la sto usando poco ma in certe situazioni è molto utile, concordo
Things became much more balanced and difficult, I practically stayed in gold league 3 for around 15 minutes, when I dropped back to silver 1 and then ended the season in silver 2 hahaha.
I think I'm a denial in Splinterlands, but I'll keep doing my best to evolve and get back to the gold league!

Yes the game has become much more competitive than in the past but with the strongest cards in modern you can maintain a fairly constant win rate.
When cards like Byzantine Kitty can no longer be used in Moder the game could become much more balanced.
