Thank you for your comment and I agree with what you wrote about happiness being subjective and also depends a lot on the social context a person lives in.
I personally have always looked more at emotions and human relationships rather than investments but I did it as long as I was single and didn't have a family and never had great needs financially. Then once I got married and especially once I became a father I had to make compromises and now I have to think of others and not just myself.
Hey I read in your profile that you are a father of 5.
Congratulations children are the real wealth of this life because they fill the heart and you have 5 ;)

I'm always trying to balance time investing and time investing in my family. Money makes a huge impact. I just started teaching at a university as a side gig to make more bucks. I feel like it's making me a machine... but if I do it for just one year, I'll be able to transfer to most any other college and earnings potential increases dramatically. We're all in the race...I just hope that some of these investments pay off fast enough to earn more time...
