Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Battle Challenge! (Fab Four)
I love the idea that the Weekly Battle Challenge changed instead of featuring a monster to represent a ruleset. It is so good to do something different than usual and I hope they will continually do this in the future. The best way would be to mix these challenges, so every week would be more interesting.
This week we need to show a ruleset, which is the Explosive Weaponry and the way I used it to my (dis)advantage in the Battle I played. 😇
My only problem with this new system is that it is very difficult to do battles with the specific ruleset featured for the week challenge, because it is random what you are going to get and even if you have that ruleset you need to win it somehow, which is not always easy. 😏

The Fab Four ruleset is one of the new ruleset, which came not long ago and the main idea behind it is that only possible to use four monster at the same time instead of the usual six, so it will makes it much more difficult to come up with a strategy to win the game and it is important to use key monsters to do that. 😁

The mana cap is 39, which should be enough to pick any monster I want, but the Going the Distance ruleset will allow the use only the Ranged attack monsters, so doesn't matter which Splinter I would choose the usable monsters will be heavily limited. 😜
Anyhow I used what I think has the best Ranged attack monsters and that is the Death Splinter, because one of their monster is able to reduce the Ranged attack of all the enemy monsters. 😉
Lux Vega
Lux Vega is one of the best Summoner in the game, because she gives three stats to all of his monsters, which is plus one Speed, Armor and Life. Similar to Kelya, but she gives more with one Health.
Her true power is that she is a Neutral Summoner the one and only one, so it is possible to use her with any Splinter monsters she wants except the Dragons. This is such a huge deal that makes her one of the most expensive Summoner amongst the rest of the others. 😁
Queen of Crows
The whole reason that I picked the Death Splinter for the Going the Distance ruleset is the fact that the Queen is able to decrease the Ranged attack of all the enemy monsters by one using her Headwinds ability.
She is also be able to attack from the first position using her Close Range ability andher high Health will be enough to sustain quite a lot of reduced Ranged attack damage from the enemy monsters. 😇
Lira the Dark is an excellent Ranged attack mosnter with amazing abilites plus high Speed to dodge as much as attack as she can. her only weakness is her low Health, but if she manages to dodge the incoming attacks that would be irrevelant.
She has the Opportunity ability, which means that she will attack the lowest Health enemy monster from the opposite team and the Swiftness ability will increase the Speed of all the friendly monsters by one. 😊
Supply Runner
The Supply Runner on this level is quite powerful, because he has +3 Ranged attack and +5 Speed to dodge the enemy attacks and making him to attack first in every round.
He also has the Swiftness ability, which will further increase the Speed of all the friendly monsters to sky high to make sure they attack first. 😉
Soul Strangler
The Soul Strangler will be my main damage dealer for this battle and that is a bit strange, because he cost only three mana, but he has the biggest damage amongst my team members. He has four attack damage and the Poison ability, which means that he will be able to Poison his targets if he will bea ble to trigger its ability on them.
The trigger rate is 50% and if it works he will deal extra two damage on them at the end of every round. 😜
My opponent brought Kelya Frendul who has similar qualities like my Lux Vega, but he gives only +1 Speed and Armor to his monsters without the +1 Health buff. 🤗
The debuff from my Queen of Crows will be a huge advantage of my team as long as she lives. Let's see if that would be enough for this battle. 🤞
In the first round my team managed to kill their Gargoya Devil, because he didn't have too much Health and his Speed was way lower than the Speed of my monsters. 😁
The second round had a similar result like the first one, but this time my team killed their Angelic Mandarin, because he had only six Health and damage of my team was way higher than his Health.
In the third and fourth round my team also killed one and the last of their monsters, because they were unable to fight back thanks to their lack of Close Range ability and low attack damage.
I think I have proved why the Death Splinter is the best in the Going the Distance ruleset, but the Life Splinter with General Sloan might be a close second on my ranking. 😇
