YES! First Chaos Legion Pack Opening and Splinterlands Game Progress

When we were kids, we used to play games with Atari gaming consoles on our cathode ray tube televisions, those games were very engaging, exciting, and difficult to level up. Even if we had been playing for hours, there were no rewards except a waste of time.

Today, blockchain has improved our gameplay experience to another level in terms of convenience and rewards. Blockchain is an emerging technology, and with DeFi 3.0, the gaming sector is growing to new heights, although it is still a work in progress, we have witnessed many new game development organizations adopting this emerging technology.

Take the example of Splinterlands, this game has changed the way a card game should be, a complete ecosystem that not only appreciates gamers but investors alike, either you are a game lover or you want to invest in some NFTs or in-game cryptos, the game has everything for everyone, you just have to choose the path you want to walk on.

Well, enough chitchat, let's move on to the game progress and see what I have not yet achieved or might have achieved. :D

Assets and Collection Power:

The progressive speed is a bit lackluster at the moment, I am moving at a slower pace, mainly because of learning the game tactics and understanding the DAO ecosystem of Splinterlands.

Top Cards: Looking at the image, you can see my top 5 cards (Pelacor Deceiver, Lava Launcher, Djinn Renova, Djinn Chwala, Magi Necrosi), those are major contributors to developing the collection power, four of them are epic cards and one is gold foil card at level 3.

Collection Power: CP stays at 635 from all 18 cards, it will improve soon as I get more cards.

Investment: I have spend around 4,921 Credits on purchasing some new cards and 1 'Chaos Legion' pack. You can see purchase history in the below image.

Note: List and market prices can be different from the image as these prices change every second due to trading executions and market volume.

My total investment value in USD is $10 + $4.921=$14.921, whereas depending on the current market price my asset valuation is less than that, a $10 deficit but I expect to recover it through upcoming season rewards and Hive blogging.

Airdrops: As I have gained some Airdrop points from collection power and staked SPT (Splintertalk tokens), although it is not much to brag about, but it is what it is. Any small gain counts towards bigger yields. Here is the image to see airdrop points accumulated.

Last Season Reward

It's time to watch this amazing video and witness my first Chaos Legion Booster pack opening.

I get 1. Kulu Swimhunter, 2. Goblin Psychic, 3. Scavo Hireling, 4. Crypt Beetle, and 5. Magi Necrosi.

Future Plan:

As the game is driving some fruitful results, now I feel more inclined to move ahead with

• buying 2 more Chaos Legion Booster packs
• having some nice powerful cards epic or legendary
• Improving ratings in League i.e. jumping to Bronze II
• getting more Airdrop points
• Staking more SPS and SPT

This list of targets also depends on how much HBD I accumulate for buying more assets. It takes more time than I thought, but there is progress that I think is a positive force for me to step further with more confidence in the game.
