SILVERSHIELD SHERIFF Futurama Style

Hello to all my dear artist friends! Lorentm is back with a new adaptation of the drawing style I've been using, this time inspired by the Futurama TV series! This time I wanted to adapt the SILVERSHIELD SHERIFF letter to the Futurama character Zapp Brannigan, it was another great challenge to make this work, since it had many more elements to take into account, from the character's clothing to the horse that accompanies the sheriff, like all my previous drawings I try to do my best work so that the result is as faithful as possible and adapts to both characters. I am very excited to have participated once again in this contest, and I am anxious to see my work on display along with other amazing works. ¡Hola a todos mis queridos amigos artistas! ¡Lorentm está de vuelta con una novedosa adaptación del estilo de dibujo que he venido usando, esta vez inspirado en la serie de televisión Futurama! En esta ocasión quise adaptar la carta de SILVERSHIELD SHERIFF al personaje de Futurama Zapp Brannigan, fue otro gran reto realizar ea obra, ya que la misma disponía de muchos más elementos a tomar en cuenera, desde la vestimenta del personaje hasta el caballo que acompaña al sheriff, como todos mis anteriores dibujos busco realizar mi mejor trabajo para que el resultado sea lo más fiel posible y se adapte a ambos personajes. Estoy muy emocionada de haber participado una vez mas en este concurso, y estoy ansiosa por ver mi obra en exhibición junto a otras obras sorprendentes. The process of creating my adaptation of "Sheriff" in the style of Futurama began as all the previous ones with the analysis of the two characters, both the Sheriff and Zapp, here I analyzed the similarities shared by both characters, having a clearer idea of what I wanted, although they did not share many similarities, I have always noticed that this type of adaptations are the ones that look better, so I proceeded to make a sketch of Zapp riding a horse and from there I started to modify it by adding details that characterize the Sheriff, Once the sketch was completed I proceeded to outline it and then apply color, I based it on the color palette used by the Sheriff, then I added lights and shadows to add volume to the character, at the end of everything both the outline and the layers of shadows and shines I give a touch of gaussian defuminado to achieve a 3d effect, this was another work that I love to do and I feel very fortunate to be able to share it with you. 😊

El proceso de creación de mi adaptación de "Sheriff" al estilo de Futurama comenzó como todas las anteriores con el análisis de los dos personajes, tanto de el Sheriff como el de Zapp, acá analice las similitudes que compartían ambos personajes, teniendo una idea más clara de lo que quería, aunque no compartían muchas similitudes, siempre he notado que este tipo de adaptaciones son las que quedan mejor, así que procedí a hacer un boceto de Zapp montado en un caballo y a partir de allí empecé a modificarlo agregándole detalles que caracterizan al Sheriff, una vez completado el boceto procedí a delinearlo para luego aplicarle color, me base en la paleta de color que usa el Sheriff, luego agregué luces y sombras para agregar volumen al personaje, al final de todo tanto el delineado como las capas de sombras y brillos le doy un toque de defuminado gausseano para lograr un efecto 3d, esta fue otra obra que me encanto realizar y siento muy afortunada en poder compartila con ustedes. 😊

The horseback Sheriffs of Khymeria are tasked with enforcing Khymian law, especially in the places known for being riddled with dissenting Peacebringers. These horse-riding lawfolk live solitary lives with few friends. As they patrol through the streets of Khymian towns and villages, they are often pelted with rotten vegetables and told to “go back to Cloudgard!” Contrary to popular opinion ( which is seeded by the Peacebringers), Silvershield Sheriffs are usually upstanding protectors of Khymian peace and freedom. They must have a strong moral character (and true aim) to put up with such abuse from those they protect.

Los Sheriffs a caballo de Khymeria se encargan de hacer cumplir la ley khymiana, especialmente en los lugares conocidos por estar plagados de disidentes de la Paz. Estos agentes de la ley a caballo viven vidas solitarias con pocos amigos. Mientras patrullan por las calles de las ciudades y aldeas khymianas, a menudo son acribillados con verduras podridas y se les dice que "¡vuelvan a Cloudgard!". En contra de la opinión popular (sembrada por los Guardianes de la Paz), los Alguaciles del Escudo de Plomo suelen ser protectores íntegros de la paz y la libertad khymianas. Deben tener un fuerte carácter moral (y verdadera puntería) para aguantar tales abusos por parte de aquellos a los que protegen.

The tools I used for the drawing were the following:

• Capacitive pen (Stylus).
• Ibis Paint X program.
• Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
