CELESTIAL HARPY and it's amazing opportunity + True Strike combo
What's up fellow Splinter lovers!
I wish you all a bright and shine day and guess you all are busy playing this awesome game and completing you daily tasks and focus missions to get more and more chests. But, please check in with your ECR during those non stop ranked matches because it will end up eating your ECR and cause a wait for a long time to gain it back. With a recent update, the ECR bar will decrease on 2x speed after you play and decrease it below 50%. I also got trapped with this new rule and recharging back my bar since last day and still at 40%. However, I throw some clicks and played just a couple of matches to get back into diamond as I lost it last day and got back to Gold I. From now on, I have to keep a non sleepy eye onto the ECR bar and try to rectify my rapid gameplay behaviour. XD
Well, now let me walk towards the main theme of this post as today, I am going to showcase an awesome and powerful chaos monster, CELESTIAL HARPY with you all. I use it very often in my battles whenever I try to make a melee friendly deck. Strategy lineups with sneak and opportunity monsters are every popular in splinterlands and this little 2 mana monster has already made it's place in that prestigious group.
I really like this new opportunity card in my collection because at higher level with true strike ability, it cant miss its target. This is a Rare edition Tiny Flying Monster that belongs to Chaos group of Monsters. This monster can equip more than 2 abilities in her life-stage. On her beginning stage, it has 1 melee attack at 2 speed and 2 health along with the Flying and Opportunity ability. This monster may require 115 Rare cards to reach the max level.
In the 2nd stage of upgradation, thus monster will have 1 melee attack at 2 speed and 3 health along with the Flying and Opportunity ability. It gets the opportunity ability from it’s initial level so it will be very useful even in bronze tier.
To reach into this next tier stage, this monster needs total 25 rare cards with itself. On this stage, this monster increases it’s Speed from 2 to 3 with 2 melee attack and 3 health along with those 2 abilities - Flying and Opportunity ability.
This Monster needs a total of 60 Rare cards to reach into this stage of upgradation. On this stage, this monster increases its health from 3 to 4 along with 2 melee attack power and 3 speed. Also, it equips another ability of True Strike along with Flying and Opportunity ability and because of this ability, this card will now attack with 100% hit chance.
DIAMOND / CHAMP
To reach into the maximum tier of Diamond or Champ, this monster needs 115 rare cards along with herself. On this Max stage of upgradation, this monster increases her health from 4 to 5. This monster also acquires total 3 abilities which are Flying, Opportunity,True Strike ability.
IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT CELESTIAL HARPY
- This monster needs only 2 mana to join any life category battle. That's why I called her a cute Tiny Flying Monster. You can use this monster in low mana limit matches and also in little league ruleset.
- This monster also has 3 awesome abilities which I will discuss below.
FLYING - Having this ability, any monster has an increased chance of evading melee or Ranged attacks from enemy monsters who do not have the flying ability.
OPPORTUNITY - Any monster with the opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy monster with the Lowest health.
TRUE STRIKE 🎯 - Having this ability the Monster's attacks cannot miss.
Although it's a Rare unit monster but the price is low right now and around 0.22$/bcx, because of the high availability which however will change over time. If you want to buy the max level of this monster, than you have to pay around $17. On the other side, you have to Pay around $2.5 for level 2 monster and around $200 for a max level of gold foil .

mana Cap: 19
Splinters allowed: Earth, Life, Death and Dragon.
Silenced Summoners - No summoner buff/debuffs will work in this battle.
Even Stevens - Only monsters with even mana cost can be used in this battle.
I placed this non-attacker defensive monster on the very first position to defend my frontal defensive position. This monster has 5 speed and 7 health along with Flying, Magic Reflect and Devine shield ability. This monster needs only 2 mana to join any Battle.
On the second position in my lineup, I placed this 0 cost mana Legendary monster to consume one more attack from enemy cards. This monster has 1 melee attack at 3 speed and 2 health.
At the third place and behind the Fiend, I placed this magic attacker monster which has 1 magic power at 2 speed and 5 health along with Amplify and Affliction ability. This monster needs only 2 mana to join this Battle so I chose this card without hesitation.
At the fourth position of my lineup, I placed this Melee opportunity attacker monster which has 2 melee attack at 3 speed and 4 health along with Opportunity and Scavenger ability. This monster will increase it’s overall health each time a monster dies so over time it will become more and more harder to kill down
On the Fifth place, I placed my main Tiny monster attacker with opportunity. On the stage of level 6, my monster has 2 melee attack at 3 speed and 4 health along with the Flying and Opportunity and True Strike ability.
On the rear most position I placed this mighty Magic Doctor Bloght Monster. This monster has 2 magic attack at 1 speed and 4 health along with Affliction, Camouflage, Poison and Scavenger ability. This monster needs 4 mana to join this Battle.
At the very first round and after got the the monsters on both side got all the abilities and disabilities, at first the opponent’s monster Naga Assassin missed it's attack towards my Pelacor Conjurer and After that, the enemy monster Djinn Chawla and Twilight Basilisk attacked but missed their shots towards my Pelacor Conjurer as well, followed by my main Monster Celestial Harpy which then damaged the enemy Twilight Basilisk and my Parasitic monster also damaged the enemy Monster Twilight Basilisk. Then, my Dax magical monster damaged the enemy front monster Djinn Chawla and at the end of this round, my Doctor Blight damaged and also implied poison upon the enemy Djinn Chawla.
On this round and after the Enemy monster Naga Assassin got damaged from Poison effect, the Enemy monster Naga Assassin missed it's attack towards my Pelacor Conjurer again. After that, the enemy Djinn Chawla also missed it's attack again towards my Pelacor Conjurer but then the enemy Twilight Basilisk damaged my Pelacor monster this time, followed by my Main monster Celestial Harpy which destroyed that enemy Twilight Basilisk. Next, My Parasitic monster damaged enemy Naga Assassin. And my both magical the monster Doctor Blight and then the Dax Paragon damaged enemy front monster Djinn Chawla monster and the second round ended here
As the third round begins, first the enemy monster Djinn Chawla got destroyed by the Poison effect and After that, the enemy ranged monster took the first position and that's why it could not attack anymore. At last, my Celestial Harpy attacked and finally destroyed the enemy monster Naga Assassin easily. It was the last monster on the enemy lineup and thus I won the match.
I personally like this monster in the battlefield since I have bought it, especially for it’s opportunity + True Trike combo which helps me to kill down wounded or low health enemy monsters and quickly reduce the opponent’s overall attacking power faster. Do you also own this monster and us it in your battles or prefer other mobsters over it? Let me know in the comments below and I will be seeing you all in my next post!
Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
