My SPS accumulation strategy and season end progress

What’s up my fellow splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are enjoying the day and also had a fantastic weekend with your friends and family. Anyways, If you are a daily splinterlands player like me, you are probably busy right now with a mission to achieve your seasonal goals in this game before the season ends. Yes, we are near the end of another ranked season in splinterlands and less than 3 days available for this season to go end. This season feels relatively longer than usual and I pointed it out during the start of this season and shared that the season started with 16 days and a couple of hours approx, which is more than a day than usually a ranked season gets. Anyway, like most of you, I am also working on my season goal right now which is to try my best to reach the top position of the Diamond League in a modern format.

Right now, I am playing with a current trophy count of 4,315 right now and my position at the moment is 3rd in the Diamond leaderboard. But, there are around 100 more trophies I need to collect from here in order to reach first place and I don't think I can make that happen this season because only 2 days left and my rented cards will expire even before that, probably by tomorrow noon so I have to play all my tricks and hustles before that. Hopefully, if not the first place I think I can at least secure the third place where I am at right now, Obviously if all goes well means I don't lose 2-3 matches and go down by another 150 trophies. So, hope all goes well from here and all the best to you all as well I wish all of you get some jaw-dropping rewards from those season reward chests.

Moving on, let us now talk about SPS aka splintershards token and for those who are not aware, SPS is the in-game reward token and also the governance token of this project. SPS is tradable in hive-engine for swap.hive and players can withdraw their earnings and convert them to hive and sell in exchange for fiat money. Splinterlands game has a large community base with active players and investors from the whole world and many players like me who love playing games and blogging on Hive have made splinterlands their first love without a doubt. Recently, the SPS price took a hit due to the market downtrend and tight now being traded for only 0.017$ and it has come very close to its all-time-low price once again, so if any of you were making plans to buy some SPS, this may be a good time to do so, not financial advice though. I was really feeling happy when the SPS price was rising slowly and even reached 0.023$ just recently and thought for a moment that bear season was over for splinterlands players, but God has its own way of teaching lessons and with a sudden downtrend in the market, we are again going backward now and I wouldn’t even be surprised if we hit a new all-time low for SPS. However, as for my accumulation plan, I am still sticking to my old and simple plan and just keep stacking all the SPS I win from playing battles and from reward chests, tournaments and brawls and invest them back by staking in my in-game wallet and not only that, I also re-stake all my SPS staking rewards beck into wallet and all of that I am doing for almost a year now just to make my SPS count look rich.

As of right now, I have a total of 108,121.907 SPS being staked in my in-game wallet and my current goal with SPS is to increase my stack to a total of 200k. If you do not know much about SPS, it has several functionalities and the main among them is increasing the reward multiplier while playing ranked matches and the more SPS you stake in your wallet, the more multiplier you will get, hence earning more SPS on every ranked battle win. Apart from that, you can also simply just stake SPS into your in-game wallet and enjoy the staking rewards in the form of SPS and vouchers. For those who are not players or have more than enough SPS in their accounts, they can also choose to rent out their SPS and earn extra and please note that renting your SPS won't affect your current SPS staking rewards, which isn’t that good. Currently staking SPS into the in-game wallet is offering 15.31% APR staking rewards and renting your SPS out will also help you earn another around 10% APR so even without playing and just holding SPS, you can earn around 25% APR in this product which I think is very good in this market. But please research wisely before investing your hard-earned money, as in crypto everything is risky. However, another fresh town hall hive post just got released by the official Splinterlands team after they finished the latest AMA season in Discord. This town hall post contains some important intel about the upcoming LAND update and also some other important points so definitely all splinterlands lovers should have a read.
