My season end rewards at Diamond I | Brawl report

What’s up my fellow splinterlands players!

I hope you all are having an awesome day and also playing and enjoying the game to its fullest. Well, another ranked season just got ended like an hour ago and I hope many of you have already collected your season chests by now. I guess it was a great season for you all and it was decently good for me as well. With this new ranked season, I am thinking of changing my playing strategy and instead of playing in diamond, for this season I want to try my luck in the Champion League and see if I can win more SPS and other things. As I am playing usually at the Diamond top tier, I often get champion league players as my opponents and when I win the match, I get about 4-6 SPS but whenever they win, they get 10-12 SPS as a match win prize, which is lucrative no doubt and tells me that I am missing more rewards while focusing in Diamond leaderboard. So, from this season onwards, I would try to play in the Champion League for the next 2-3 seasons at least and examine the difference. So, wish me the best for this season guys.

However, I have shared the screenshot of my last season's progress above, which I took just around 30 minutes before the season's end. From there, you can see that I have collected a total of 101 season chests in this ranked one, and I am very happy with the result because it was my goal to collect 100 reward chests in this season. I also want to add here that I was able to reach this goal because I played the season regularly and every day I tried to score at least 10 daily focus reward chests. While it helped me to earn good SPS and cards and other assets daily, it also helped me to reach 100+ season chests on the other hand. But sadly, I failed to reach the top of the leaderboard in the Diamond League this season and even thou I secured the third position in the last hour of this season, in the last 15 minutes someone crossed me and I got pulled down to the 4th position, and got 30k DEC in this season as my leaderboard prize. But still, I am happy with my achievement and as I am going to battle in the Champion League, things are going to change for me now.

Now, let’s move on to the season rewards that I pulled from those 101 reward chests and as you can see from the screenshots above, this time the outcome was better than average for me I would say. From those stack of season reward chests, I got a total of 363.75 SPS, 1 chaos pack, 9,018 merits, and a lot of legendary and alchemy potions as usual, and talking about cards, the best I got this time was a gold foil epic card Evelyn Auvera, 2 gold foil rare card Riverboat Captain and 2 gold foul common Dumacke Orc and for regular foils, I got 2 legendary cards of Drybone Raider, 2 epic Kra’ar Xoc and rest all as rare and common foil cards. I got really happy when the Drybone got pulled out as it is one of my favorite legendary cards now and no doubt, I also got excited to see the gold foil epic getting revealed from one of those reward chests.

Now, above in the screenshot, I shared the overall reward accumulation that I collected throughout this season and as you can see, I got a total of 2208.77 SPS from reward chests and received a total of 1435.68 SPS by playing and winning ranked matches in the Diamond League. For Champion players, the winning SPS may seem a bit lower and thou I have played a lot of ranked matches, the SPS count is just decent as usual for me. As for stats, last season I played a total of 427 ranked matches, and all of them I played in the Diamond League. Anyway, Out of all those, I won a total of 310 matches and my highest winning streak was 15 for this time. So if you calculate, I only received only around 4.63 SPS per ranked match win even after maintaining a good streak. However, this number should change this season hopefully as I have decided to play in the Champion League this season.

Now moving on to the brawl section, if you read my posts regularly or visit me often in the splinterlands arena, you already know that I am an old member of the Neoxian Guild and play brawls regularly along with my amazing guild warriors. Today also we finished playing another great brawl and this time we were playing a tier 4 brawl again where 9 other competitive guilds were participating and fighting against us. But gladly, we have again won this brawl and secured first place by defeating those other guilds. Thanks to our guild owner Mr. Neoxian, Guild Officer Xawi and all my fellow guild members for their unmatched performance in this brawl, and together with the lowest losses as a group, we were able to snatch away the victory one more time. As for the rewards, the guild won a total of 191 crowns, and each participating member of the guild who played all their fray matches in this brawl and helped us all win hot rewarded with a whooping 157.544 SPS and 10,914 merits each. What a great reward and that is why I encourage you all to play brawls regularly and win more money with your card collections and skills.

However, after receiving the brawl rewards, I went to check how much merits I have saved till now, and to my surprise, despite spending all my merit recently to buy and open a chunk of Gladius packs, I have again saved a bunch of total 28,139 merits in my account which were enough to buy another 14 gladius packs. So without wasting any more time, I quickly bought 14 packs with my merits and opened them all in a matter of seconds, and below I am sharing the outcome. ### As you can see above, the pull was better than decent for this time as I received one gold foil rare card Ajax Lightfoot, and a regular epic Gorth card along with a lot of rare and common gladius cards this time. I also received a bunch of my favourite cards Katrelba Gobson which I am trying to upgrade at the moment. However, let me again save a big bunch of merits to be able to open Gladius packs and increase my Gladius cards collection as soon as possible as they are more important now than ever.
