What’s up my fellow Hivers!

I hope all of you are enjoying the beautiful day with your friends and family and also enjoying this awesome game at it’s best. Well, For us splinterlands players the tension is rising cause we have already crossed half the way of this current season and only 6 days left for it to end. For me, it looks like the fate is not on my side this time as I am still unable to make it upto my goal Champ III tier. Thou right now I am battling in Diamond I and only about a hundred trophies away from reaching my goal, these last few steps is giving a head time right now and I hope to get there as soon as possible.

Focus Rewards

Now, let me talk a little my last 2 daily focus rewards outcome. I finished both of them while playing in Diamond I tier and while I secured 11 reward chests from the first one, from the latest one I got another 14 chests and below are the screenshots of what I got. As you can see, from the first one , I got 1 chaos pack, 1 rare and 3 common cards and around 14 SPS along with 9 legendary potions.

I thought I was lucky but today my thought got smashed with even better rewards with 1 Gold Foil Epic Djinn Renova which currently costs 2.61$ as lowest NCX on market. I also got 1 rare and 2 common cards along with 16 SPS and 36 legendary & 48 alchemy potions. I really got happy seeing a good gold foil after such a long time and also didn’t expect it in Diamond level rewards. Anyways, I also collected total 7 chests already and seeing at left my ECR at 66.95% and will let it recharge overnight.

Tournaments

We splinterlands players know it for a fact that tournaments are a big boys toys thing and much harder than playing casually in ranked. In tourneys, especially in Gold and Diamond tier tournaments, the best players of splinterlands shine their unbeatable tactics and most of the times secure the top places. But things have changed much over time and so does the reward structure of splinterlands tournaments where now, they distribute better rewards for outer 16 place holders as well.

Since the partition, I am upgrading my modern playing deck constantly and also started playing modern recently. I used to fear playing tourneys because who wants to get beaten most of the matches again right. But after making my deck a bit stronger with some new Rift and old untamed missing cards, I wanted to try my luck out and get into that reward full leaderboard. And gladly, I can say I am not performing terribly and even started winning some SPS also from them.

Now, let me show the result of the past 2 splinterlands tournaments that I played. The first one was the Scarred Hand Diamond Beginner Cup in which was a max card level tourney and the entry fee was just 4 SPS. After playing second and final round, I secured 28th place and got rewarded with 27.933 SPS which was way more than the entry fee.

The second one was the Modern League of Champions tournament with a massive 669$ prize pool and the entry fee was 10 SPS. I participated in this one was as well and cleared both rounds with a final place of 39. After the result got declared, I immediately got rewarded with 108 SPS. I lost a lot of matches in the second round of this tourney but gladly secured a place for my overall performance.

All SPS into Staking

image.png

Not to mention that all the SPS prizes of tournaments are liquid but I am staking them anyways. Sometimes earlier I unstaked a portion of my SPS and sold it for hive and also to buy some cards. Right now, I am currently having 49,374 SPS as staked and very close to reach 50k mark. But as SPS price is having it’s all time low, I don't have plan to unstake for a while now and rather accumulate and stake as much as I can while the dip lasts. Anyways, I am certainly happy with my progress in tournaments at the moment but the mission doesn't stop here. I still have a lot of cards to buy and a lot to learn and Maybe one day I will also snatch that Top position.

I hope you enjoyed seeing those rewards and loved reading my post. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
