Splinterlands | Let’s talk about Land, Rebellion and SPS

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Players!

I hope all of you are ready to enjoy the weekend with your loved ones and preparing for the Saturday night. But if you are a daily splinterlands player just like me, then the time has come to tighten your belt and jump into the battleground as only around 8 days left for this ongoing season to end. I hope all of you are already battling with your power snd collecting as many reward chests as possible from both daily focus and season chests and if you hearing about splinterlands for the first time, well where have you been? It is a strategy based NFT card game that runs on Hive blockchain and players here buy packs and cards, upgrade their cards and fight with other players to win SPS and reward chests. This game celebrated its 5th birthday just some Months earlier and I am also glad to be one of its earliest player who is still enjoying every bit of it. I use to play in the modern format of this game and in Champion league and right now, my goal in this game is to buy those newly launched rebellion cards max level one by one.

I used to play with my own deck for a long period of time, but recently as some time passes after the Rebellion launch, I decided to rent out my untamed and chaos legion cards for some time and also rented out my staked SPS for passive income while I am using that money and from my other earnings also into buying these new rebellion cards which I am about to talk below. But before going into that, let me a first talk about my land at below.

Land Progress

The Land was the biggest ever update since the game launched back in 2018 and as expected, it is clearly a hit and soon got adapted with a vast no of users. I am also glad to own a single land plot, I was more in cards from the beginning so I didn't put much focus into Lands and did my part by buying and holding 1 land for a long time. Recently after the land update finally took place, I took some to learn the basics and then start my land by staking my runi and cards into it and now earning grains.

As you can see From image above, my Land plot is situated in Lake territory and its a neutral type and common rarity Land. I am currently growing Grain in it with a rate of 492 Grain per hour. Right now my worksite capacity is 41% filled and every 7 days I must harvest my rewards or the rest will get wasted. During the time of claim or harvest, the first one is Grain tax and the second one is Fees Workers. I have also claimed multiple times by now and right now, I have total 140k Grain in my account. Soon in future I am thinking to either convert my land into a sps producing land or buy a new one and start producing sps on it. However, as I am using some precious cards in land, so before I start playing again I have to buy replacements of these cards to keep my Land in a working state.

My cards collection

Now, talking about my current card collection, I have a complete maxxed out Chaos core collection and also most of the Riftwatchers cards along with a bunch of untamed cards. The current total value of my sl card collection is around 8700$ as shown in peakmonsters. As I told above, I am currently renting all my cards out and my live earning is 4619.5 dec per day, which is great as a passive earning. Nowadays, I have also started to buy Rebellion cards and till now I have bought 2 max level Rebel cards along with some bronze level ones. I am focusing on 2 element cards right now, Water and Earth so buying summoner and monster card from these 2 elements right now. After I finish collecting all the cards, I will be moving forward to neutral and other elements one by one and hope one day soon I get a complete Rebel deck.

Staked SPS

Last but not least, let me now talk about my SPS stake and right now, I have a total of 100k staked SPS in my wallet. My total collection was a bit larger than this but due to an unavoidable family situation, I had to sell a big chunk of my SPS and also some untamed cards. But right now, my first priority would be focus on both rebel cards and SPS and then grow them well over time.

As of right now, I am leasing out all my SPS and for a rate of 0.003 Dec per sps per day, so apart from earning menthe staking rewards, it is now also earning me more dec by simply leasing it out to other players. That is the beauty of splinterlands assets where even if you get busy sometime in life and cant play, you can also earn passively by renting or leasing them out. While i am focusing in my scholar account more right now and learning bout these new rebellion cards, my own assets are earning me around 3.5 - 4 $ per day without doing anything, so I will keep it as it is and continue saving money and buying more rebel cards.
