Working on my 100k staked SPS goal

SPS is both the governance and the in-game reward token of splinterlands where on hand you can earn this tokens for playing different types of games (ranked, tournament and brawl) and the other hand, staking this coin gives you a handful of perks and besides SPS and vouchers as yours staking rewards, you can also vote on proposals that gets published often in the in-game proposal tab. Currently the SPS stakers are getting the GLX airdrop daily as well just for holding SPS staked in their account and also we shouldn’t forget the Vruz promo sale which the SPS stakers got almost for free according to their staked SPS. So, there’s already a good number of use cases of this token in this game and with more than half of the total SPS supply being staked right now is indicating how strongly the players and investors believe in this project.

As an old Splinterlands players, I used to get a bunch of SPS daily from airdrop mainly because of my card collection and I kept most of it staked still now and growing. I am a fan of this particular coin and currently I am working on a big goal with SPS to get skin actually in the game even if for a little bit. I am trying to accumulate a total 100k SPS in my staked account and just recently, I crossed staking 65k SPS in my account and today as I am writing this post, I have exactly 66,090 SPS staked in my account. I am counting on every drop of SPS that I am earning from playing different gameplays and in order to grow my stack, I am Re-staking all my SPS earnings back into my stack. I am doing the same with the SPS staked rewards too and sending them back into the stack. The current value of SPS is ranging between 0.029-0.030$ and the total value of my SPS stack is approx 1954$ but as it’s price grows up, the value of my stack will also increase over time.

To increase the speed of my staked SPS hrowth, I also bought some liquid SPS off market recently and staked them into my account. I bought 2 times and while in the first time I bought 2,000 SPS for around 57$ and staked it into my in-game wallet and second time I managed to save some more bucks selling some hive-engine tokens and bought around 100 more. Right now I have only completed 66% of my goal and there’s still a long way left but my SPS earnings from ranked, tournaments and brawl is really helping me well to increase my collection over time. In order to perform well in all those different types of games, I also buy new cards time to time snd add them into my playing collection just to increase my battle strength. When playing battles in splinterlands, it really means how many option you have to choose from and the more cards you possess, the more creative and powerful you will be.

I know many people personally in this game who owns whale level chunks of SPS and on the other hand, I also see new players or investors buying it with a long term vision. There’s a big active community behind splinterlands who actually believe in the game and also think that on the long run, this game will be a massive hit among these type of strategy based card playing games. The game is already ranking as the best NFT PLAY2EARN game in many popular ranking websites but we certainly do not stop here.

Moreover, apart from the trust on long term, there’s also juicy rewards for staking SPS already. The APY rate for SPS staking rewards is currently 21.50% but you also get vouchers and GLX tokens on daily basis as well just for holding staked SPS. So, on investment side also, it is providing sweet rewards to the stakes along with more perks in the game.

I am very hopeful with SPS and I have strong believe that one day SPS will touch the 1$ price mark. If that probably happens, we all will be sitting on a lot of money without a doubt but maybe I am just over thinking it. But as the rate of SPS is rising constantly from it’s all time low point of 0.024 to it’s current value of 0.03$, I think it will be only a matter of time before it hits 0.1$ price mark. But before that happens, I must have to fill my SPS jar with the remaining amount as soon as possible.
