Xenith Monk is so Perfect against magic monsters!

I hope all of you all having a pleasant day with your family, friends and loved ones. Another week has almost passed by and we going near another weekend. But in the meantime, there’s only 4 days and some hours only left for this current splinterlands season to end! I hope all of you are working hard on your the season's scorecard!

XENITH MONK

Today, I will showcase another awesome Chaos card Xenith Monk with you all! Xenith Monk is a rare type card that belongs to the Neutral Unit Monsters and it got released with the latest Chaos group. This monster needs 4 mana cost to join any battle. This monster has 1 melee attack at 3 speed with 6 health at it’s initial first level. This monster needs a total of 115 rare cards or 22 gold foil cards to reach the maximum level. This monster equips 3 Abilities on its max level.

BRONZE

On the 2nd level, this monster has 1 Melee attack at 3 speed with 6 health along with Heal ability. Even on this initial level, the heal ability makes it a good defender.

SILVER

This Monster needs 25 Rare cards to reach this level. In this level, this monster has 1 Melee attack at 4 speed at 7 health along with the Heal ability.

GOLD

This Monster needs 60 Rare cards to reach this level which is 6. On this level, this monster increased it’s melee attack Power from 1 to 2. It also equips another ability on this level which is the Void ability.

DIAMOND/CHAMP

To reach the maximum level, this monster needs a total of 115 rare cards and after reaching this level, it also gets increased health from 7 to 8. On this level, this monster also equips another ability of Magic Reflect and a completes a defensive pack of 3 abilities.

IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT XENITH MONK

• Zenith Monk needs only 4 mana to join any battle and it gets used mostly as a front defender. You can even use this monster while the battle mana cap is low or with Little Leagues ruleset.

• This monster has 6 health from the beginning stage which gets increased to 8 at max level. With the help of heal and void, enemy monsters will find it way harder to reduce it’s health down to zero.

• This monster equips the first ability Heal on level 2 and using this ability, this Monster can restore a portion it’s health on each round.

• The Void ability help to reduce damage from enemy magic attacks and in the other hand magic reflect ability reverse damage enemy magic monsters whenever it gets hit. So, its a pure anti aqua card for sure.

MARKET STATS

This monster’s current market value is around $0.70/bcx and if you buy the max level the cost will be approximately $35 but on current market it doesn’t available. But you can buy level 5 monster instead and it’s price around $27. On the side the value of gold foil cards around $7 on 2nd level monster.

XENITH MONK

On the very first position, I placed my main monster. I already wrote about this monster above so lets move on to the next one.

CORNEALUS

On the second position, I placed this 10 mana Ranged attack monster. This monster has 4 ranged attack at 3 speed and with 12 health along with Heal, Thorns, Return Fire and Magic Reflect ability.

QUEEN MYCELIA

I placed this monster on the third position and its a very defensive magic monster. This monster has 1 magic power at 1 speed and with 4 health along with Protect, Amplify, Triage and Rust ability.

TOWER GRIFFIN

On the fourth position, I placed this ranged attack flying monster. This monster has 2 ranged power at 4 speed and 6 health along with Flying and Protect ability. The protect ability will give all my friendly monster an extra later of +2 shield.

SPIRIT OF THE FOREST

On the fifth position, I placed this Ranged attack monster and it has 3 ranged attack at 6 speed and with 8 health along with the Flying, Snipe, Tank Heal and Protect ability.

CENTAUR

On the last position, I placed another reliable ranger Centaur with sniper ability to help the Spirit of the Forest. It gas 3 ranged attack at 6 speed and with 6 health along with snipe.

RUMBLE

ROUND 1

On the first round, after all the monsters got their abilities and disabilities, enemy monster Nightmare took the first strike towards my Xenith and Cornealus. After that, the enemy monster Naga Assassin and Void dragon Damaged my Xenith but also got wounded by the reflect damage. Next, the Enemy monster Gold dragon damaged my Xenith and Cornealus and also got reverse damaged by Reflect ability. After that enemy monster Serpentine mystic Damaged my Xenith and also got damaged with -2 from Reflect ability. After that, the enemy monster Black Dragon damaged my Xenith and also got damaged by it’s reflect ability .

After that, my Spirit of the forest damaged the enemy monster void dragon and my Centaur also damaged enemy void dragon later on. After that, My Tower Griffin damaged the enemy front monster Nightmare successfully. Next, my Xenith damaged the enemy Nightmare along with the Cornealus. My Queen damaged then damaged the enemy Nightmare on the last stage.

ROUND 2

On this round, the enemy nightmare monster damaged my Xenith and Cornealus after restoring it’s health. Then, the enemy monsters Naga assassin and Void dragon also damaged my Xenith monk, but received return damaged by Reflect attacks. After that, my Xenith monster destroyed the enemy void monster. At this point, My Xenith and Cornealus monster had 4 health left after getting damaged by Gold dragon’s attack, but it also got damaged from reflect ability. After that, that enemy monster damaged my Xenith monk but also got damaged from reflect ability. Next, the magic Dragon wounded my Xenith monster and it had only 1 health left after getting wounded. But the dragon also got damaged by reflect ability and only had 1 health. Then, my Spirit of Forest destroyed the wounded enemy Gold dragon easily and after that, my Centaur destroyed the enemy in the 2nd position.

Next, My Tower Griffin damaged the front nightmare monster, followed by the Xenith monster who also damaged the Front Nightmare monster. The front monster Nightmare the got destroyed with a crucial hit by my Cornealus. My Queen Mycelia also damaged enemy front enemy monster next and the round ended here.

ROUND 3

On this round, both the enemy monster and my Xenith monster restores a portion of their health. Then, the Enemy monster Naga assassin destroyed my Xenith monster, followed by the enemy front monster who got damaged from the reflect ability after damaging the Cornealus. Then, My Spirit of the Forest damaged the enemy naga assassin and my centaur then destroyed the wounded assassin. At the last stage, my Spirit magic monster destroyed the last enemy monster on the ground and I won the match.

My Thought

In this match, the Xenith Mink really helped me with it’s Void + Magic Reflect combo. As the opponent was using multiple magic monster to attack upon me, it ‘s magic reflect damage further amplified by the Queen Mycelia brought so much extra damage onto those enemy magic throwers. On the other hand, it’s Healing ability really worked great and kept it alive for much longer time while my rear monsters were hunting down one by one of those enemy monsters.
