Help A Brother in Need, It will come back 10 Fold

Something that is close to my heart is the “Pride of the Filipino”, Since moving to the Philippines, I have always tried to maintain a high level of moral fiber, respecting cultural differences and adapting to the situation as best as I can. Being a British Born Filipino, I am thankful that my parents ensured that I did not loose our cultural values along the way, it is resilience, it is strength, it is family coming first, and it is helping others sometimes before even helping yourself (If you are in a position to do so).

I always check the Face Book pages that I follow, one of them being Splinterlands PH, and had noticed that someone was selling a Gold Foil Quix the Devious on the market place, his reasons for selling was to provide assistance to his father that had been in an accident and required funding. I was not specifically looking for this card, however what I did see was an opportunity to help. Splinterlands, paved the way for this young man to support his families needs. He even shared photos as evidence with me, which will not be disclosed here. There are many “ Scammers” out there, however I choose to believe that by helping others, it will come back one way or another. I received this card within seconds and combined it to bring my Quix to level 3, Perfect for the Gold Foil Gold League Fray that I was in.

My father passed a few years ago now, and during that most challenging time I only wished that money would have been something that could have saved him, I do hope that my small contribution is able to assist where needed.

The transaction went very smooth!

Whilst some may call this extraction, I call this living in a developing country, where there are less receivable benefits, where salaries are just enough to survive on and where there is a big differentiation between the rich and the poor. Besides, whose buying the assets being sold? Of course it is going to those can afford it, most probably more invested into the game, and are in it for the long haul.

For P2P Transactions we use a service called GCash, it is readily available, reliable and the easiest way to get funds across to people. I am happy to say that I have never been cheated and have actually obtained a respectable reputation where people do not hesitate as to send first. It eliminates a need for a middleman, as trust is built within our community.

In summary, help your fellow man if you are in a position to do so. It doesn’t matter where you are from, there is always someone that needs help, and through a platform such as Splinterlands, outreach is endless. It will come back 10 Fold.
