Splinterlands Art Contest Week 339 | Kiara Lightbringer 🌈🤺

Very good afternoon my dear readers, I hope you are very very well and that you are having a great day; here greets you as always your friend Manuel super happy to be able to share with you a new artistic post for my blog. Today I come with my entry for this week's dynamic of my dear people of #Splinterlands, which as many of you know is about choosing characters from your game and make an artistic representation in our own style; it turns out that this time I wanted to illustrate for the first time the card of (Kiara Lightbringer), which is the youngest daughter of a famous summoner couple, Kiara was created by the hands of (Khymia) herself and was found in an unhatched dragon egg, and eventually became the youngest summoner in the history of the tournaments.... I hope you like it and here I will leave you the complete process of this drawing:

Muy buenas tardes mis queridos lectores y lectoras, espero que se encuentran muy muy bien y que estén teniendo un grandioso día; por aquí los saluda como siempre su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post artístico para mi blog. El día de hoy les vengo con mi entrada para la dinámica de esta semana de mi querida gente de #Splinterlands, la cual como muchos sabrán trata de elegir personajes de su juego y realizar una representación artística a nuestro propio estilo; resulta que esta vez quise ilustrar por primera vez la carta de (Kiara Lightbringer), la cual es la hija menor de una famosa pareja de invocadores, Kiara fue creada por las manos de la propia (Khymia) y fue encontrada en un huevo de dragón sin eclosionar, y con el tiempo se convirtió en la invocadora más joven en la historia de los torneos…espero les guste y aquí les dejare el proceso completo de este dibujo:

PROCESS / PROCESO

For the sketch I wanted to start with a quite imposing pose for (Kiara Lightbringer), I decided to draw her in medium body as if she was preparing to draw her big sword from its sheath and brandish it against her adversaries. I started with the coloring process as usual, starting with the skin, I searched my color palette for some intermediate brown tones to try to achieve a fairly harmonious blonde skin, here I first like to use the airbrush as a base and then the watercolor to better define the details of lights, shadows and so on. When I finished with the skin I went directly to the work of the expression of the face, in the case of the lips I made a transition between the brown tones of the skin to a soft pink, and for the eyes I used bluish tones.

Para el boceto buscaba iniciar con una pose bastante imponente para (Kiara Lightbringer), decidí dibujarla a cuerpo medio como si estuviese preparándose para sacar su gran espada de su funda y blandirla contra sus adversarios. Comencé con el proceso de coloreado como es de costumbre, partiendo por la piel, busque en mi paleta de colores algunos tonos marrones intermedios para trate de lograr una piel rubia bastante armoniosa, aquí primero me gusta utilizar el pincel aerógrafo como base y luego la acuarela para definir mejor los detalles de luces, sombras y demás. Al terminar con lo referente a la piel me paso directamente al trabajo de la expresión del rostro, en el caso de los labios realice una transición entre los tonos marrones de la piel hasta un rosado suave, y para los ojos use tonos azulados.

For the hair I wanted to give it my personal essence, and I decided to make a very long and straight blonde hair, unlike how the character looks on the card, here I started with the watercolor brush making long strokes mixing a little yellow tones until the hair looked like I wanted, then with my 3 tips brush I worked the upper texture until I got that realism that I like so much. When I finished the hair I moved on to the creation of the character's clothing, here with purple tones the first thing I did was to create a first layer of smooth and loose fabric for the torso, shoulders, and a skirt for the legs; then with fuchsia and intense pink tones I created a kind of thick armor for her torso and bust with many high brightness, and at the same time I created a fabric on the arms that were like a kind of gloves that reached up to the elbows.

Para el trabajo del pelo quise darle mi esencia personal, y decidí hacer una cabellera rubia muy larga y lisa, a diferencia de como se ve el personaje en la carta, aquí comencé con el pincel acuarela realizando trazos largos mezclando un poco los tonos amarillos hasta lograr que el cabello se viera como yo quería, luego con mi pincel de 3 puntas trabaje la textura superior hasta conseguir ese realismo que tanto me gusta. Al terminar el pelo me pase a la creación de la vestimenta del personaje, aquí con tonos morado lo primero que hice fue crear una primera capa de tela lisa y holgada para el torso, hombros, y una falda para las piernas; luego con tonos fucsias y rosados intensos cree una especie de armadura gruesa para su torso y busto con muchos brillos altos, y al mismo tiempo cree una tela en los brazos que fuesen como especies de guantes que llegaran hasta los codos.

For the tiara accessory on his forehead I used similar tones to those of the armor, my idea here is that this accessory had a more rugged and metallic shape and appearance; then with various tones I created a rainbow with a central logo for the tiara, and I also gave it some reflective glitter. In the case of the sword my idea was that this one was kept in its sheath, so for this I created a protective sheath with a texture like rigid and thick leather, and for the hilt of the sword I repeated this same texture to combine well; around the waist of (Kiara Lightbringer) I wanted to create a small chain which would be the support of the sword and the sheath, besides I tried to repeat the same rainbow pattern of the tiara in the guard of the sword.

Para el accesorio de la tiara en su frente use tonos similares a los a los de la armadura, mi idea aquí es que este accesorio tuviese una forma y apariencia mas rugida y metálica; después con tonos varios cree un arcoíris con logo central para la tiara, y también le di ciertos brillos reflectantes. En el caso de la espada mi idea era que esta estuviese guardada en su funda, entonces para esto cree una funda protectora con textura como de cuero rígido y grueso, y para la empuñadura de la espada repetí esta misma textura para que combinara bien; alrededor de la cintura de (Kiara Lightbringer) quise crear una pequeña cadena la cual seria el soporte de la espada y la funda, además de que trate de repetir el mismo patrón de arcoíris de la tiara en la guarda de la espada.
