Ever had those matches where the enemy’s magic lineup just wipes your team before you even get to attack? Feels unfair right? That’s where Nalara Geinek steps in like an unbeatable wall. She doesn’t just take the hit. She completely shrugs them off like Snorlax thanks to her magic-focused build that punishes reckless magic attackers.

With her thick armor and solid health stats, Nalara Geinek’s the kind of unit you want when magic attack starts flying everywhere. She is good in long matches where patience wins over brute force and every hit gets ignored due to her abilities. Let’s dig deeper into what makes her one of the best anti-magic units you can have when magic-heavy battles start to heat up.

Stats Summary

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

  • With 5 armor and 10 health, she’s Tanky enough to stand in 1st position while still protecting your team against magic-focused teams. Nalara Geinek is a magic tank that can absorb and block high magic damage thanks to Void ability. Silence weakens enemy magic attack and the added Stun gives her a bit of control that can mess up enemy frontlines.

Buy and Rent:

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

At $3.649 for level 1, Nalara Geinek is a bit expensive considering other level 1 legendaries can go for less. However, since she scales well at higher levels and already provides good defense even early, her’s not totally unreasonable. The $25.990 max level is actually a good deal since most maxed legendaries usually cost around $40 or more if you manually level her up piece by piece.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

At 7.95 DEC per day, renting Nalara Geinek feels pricey especially since her’s only available at level 1. You can’t rent a higher-leveled one right now, so what you see is what you get. For that rate, her’s hard to justify the cost unless you really need a tank to cover for a specific match or rule set.

Rule Sets:

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Use it in...

Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.
This is one of the best rule sets for Nalara Geinek since her Void already halves magic damage. When Weak Magic is active her stacks even better because the enemy’s spells barely scratch her. She turns into a solid wall that can stall magic teams long enough for your lineup to take control.

All units have Knock Out (deals double damage if the target is stunned).
Nalara Geinek shines in Heavy Hitters rule set because her Stun can trigger the Knock Out bonus for double damage. Every time she lands that Stun, your allies can follow up with massive hits that can wipe enemies fast. She turns her from a normal tank into a combo piece that helps the whole team deal higher hits.

All units have Magic Reflect (returns 50% of magic damage to attacker, rounded up).
In this rule set all units gain Magic Reflect which is already risky for magic users. Nalara Geinek fits perfectly since her Amplify boosts the reflected damage while her Void cuts what she takes in by half. She ends up punishing enemy magic attacker hard while shrugging off most of the reflected hits herself.

Avoid using it in...

Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.
This rule set removes strong summoner combos that pair well with Nalara Geinek. Losing things like Kaylia Silverleaf’s extra Silence or Eternal Tofu’s Thorns-Amplify combo makes her a bit duller in fights. Without those boosts she feels less impactful compared to when she has the right summoner beside her.

All melee units have Sneak (targets the enemy unit in the last position).
This rule set fills the field with melee units that ignore her main strengths. Since they target the backline instead of her front position she can’t tank effectively. Void and Silence don’t help much here since her encourages enemies to use melee units instead making her feel out of place.

Units do not have any armor and do not get armor from Abilities or Summoner Buffs.
Losing all armor in this rule set strips away one of her best defenses. Without that armor, her tank role weakens fast especially when facing strong melee or ranged attacks. She becomes far easier to burst down early in the match.

Battle Strat: Back to Basics rule set removes all abilities, so I built my team around raw stats instead. I used tanky units like Nalara Geinek to soak up damage since her health gives her better survivability even without abilities. For my damage, I went full magic attacks boosted by Marlai Singariel’s +1 magic and the plan worked out just as intended.

Battle Summary: The battle stayed close from start to finish. My frontliners dropped early because the enemy also went heavy on magic damage with Marlai Singariel but my lineup pulled through in the end. Having three tanks instead of two like what my enemy did made a huge difference and helped me outlast them for the win.
