Free Events March 2024
Splinterlands has released new events and the configurations seem to adopt the new battle ranking pretty well.
First off entry price for the events are all free. Whether you enter bronze to diamond leagues they are all free. The league restrictions with fee penalty for playing at lower leagues are gone for now.
Collection power and stake sps is still required at specific events. In addition the events are now mixed with different card sets that seem to allow more participants into each event. For example events that have alpha sets will also allow chaos. This mix of sets gives players more opportunities to earn rewards. I think it’s a great way of allowing players to earn more mainly based on their skills rather than what type of cards they own.
On a side note I am continuing to feel up my DEC stake in land plots even though slowly it’s coming in around 1k DEC. The earnings come from some sps staked leasing and renting out more of my cards. The hope is I get back to full strength before the end of the month and continue growing a new war chest so I can pursue new cards in the future.
My deck collection in total is now back up to close of $12k. I am looking forward to continue increasing the overall value by continuing to stack soul bound rewards.

That does seem quite interesting. I am guessing that ranking to get those rewards will probably be harder as well because there are more participants. So I wonder just how many people will go there if it's hard to place high enough.
Hundreds per event and the ranked rewards are only to top 32ish now rather than in the hundreds.
That sounds horrible. Doesn't sound worth the effort if the chances aren't so high.
