Last Day Of The Season…
With less than a day left in this season I made a final push to get the best ranking I could get for the season.
I flat out played close to 40 matches and got barely to champion but still respectable. However overall ranking leaves much to be desired.
At 1766 and will likely drop further if I don’t win more battles for rest of the day.
What I am more interested is my end of season glint.
At 2x for end of seasons it’s a great stash I have earned for this season however far from my optimum in earnings.
I did not play for a handful of days for this season which will leave me out a few thousand glints but I am happy that the rewards will take into consideration how much the players are actively playing.
Of course it’s not with flaws with this new rewards system. Bots may infest the wild league yet again in order to pull more glints.
This leads to drawback of holding legacy cards as modern league will only allow the two most recent sets to be played. Untamed and older series are not allowed which makes those cards have less value as modern league not only have more rewards to earn the league will have less bots.
The less utilization for older assets is not keeping value up for the game. Both transaction and market transactions are in a down trend and continues.
The game will need time to adjust to but hopefully it will come out on top similar to what Splinterlands did in the past. I am going to shop for deals as prices near all time lows.

After many many seasons, now I succeeded to reach Champion III, and even to with some games in this league. Probably linked to a drop in the interest of top players for the Wild

I don't think there is any real reason to move up to Champion right or rush it towards the end. From what I see, the rewards are more or less based on your glint earned. I'm in Diamond for Wild format, but its been a decent season. Maybe I'll get to Champion later on.
Since update we can’t cap where what leagues we get into but I wanted more glint. End of season is the double so that is why I pushed at the end. Still agree if goals aren’t to accumulate more glint it doesn’t matter to play more.
I will wait for the rewards distribution before buy assets on the various marketplaces.

Shorten season but ideally still got end of season rewards to collect. Give me more shorten seasons lol
