My Daily Rants…

In the new season I have noticed that my SPS rewards for daily battle win was dropping off a cliff. At first I thought the initial day of a new season may have something to do with the reward drop off. Then a few days roll by and the results remain the same.

Courtesy of splex.gg the above image lists present reward pool per each league. A majority of the ranks would earn more in modern than wild is not a surprise. What is in wild the earns in bronze and silver the pools are higher than that of modern diamond. The discrepancies don’t stop there.

I currently play in wild gold and wild bronze. My earnings difference is about 3x.

This separation of earnings is less than in prior seasons making me think that likely more players are participating in gold league and SPS rewards distribution is spreading thinner. It’s not motivating me to play my daily battles knowing that the final outcome is only going to matter by 3x.

In my account playing gold league I have over 10x in card values than my account playing bronze but not so much in the rewards. In the past it did seem the numbers were better aligned. TownHall discussions regarding future changes to the rank battles and I hope SPS rewards will be addressed then.

On a side note I am not heavily invested in Soul Keep. In fact I have bought more Nightmare packs than expected do to current price drops. It remains to be seen when and how this game will be deployed but for now I plan to hold the packs.

I may as well plan to accumulate more packs if packs remain this low since my daily sps rewards for holding this many packs is yielding me over 100. That is I earn over 100 sps for spending around 10k hive to accumulate the packs that I hold. This is a significant amount invested in Soul Keep, but the daily rewards for just owning them is too enticing to pass up.
