My Thoughts On Latest Townhall

The big part I have seen a lot of people discussing was barely brought up in the latest Town Hall. The topic being bots and how developers will try to mitigate them in modern league. Aggy out right said even what they would do to try and stop bots may not work since he expects it to be "a cat and mouse game." In summary bots can not be stop as each hurdle against it they will end up finding loop holes or ways around. Aggy elaborates the best results he hopes to achieve is to limit the rewards bot accounts can obtain which then would detour players from using bots.

Grand Month of July

There is a lot of updates to come but most are expected to be in July. From the big shift from CP to SPS staking for rank battles, to land 1.5, and Soulbound cards.

In order for SPS staking to take over there will need to be first renting and leasing staked SPS. This all would be expected to occur near the beginning of July.

The land 1.5 seems well deserve roll out when it indeed comes out. Players will be able to lock cards, use Runis, and start producing resources. Highly anticipated and all expected to come in around July.

Then there is the interchange words of Soul Keep or also known as Tower Defense. The game is testing and close to roll out, but not define date. Plans are for July roll out.

What is fascinating is that the demand for Nightmare packs which are the Tower Defense game has been somewhat fallen in a price but after the Town Hall its price is now above 5 hives a pack. What may have confused a lot of people is the names used for the game when it has yet to come out.

Soul Keep is a stand alone game and the gameplay is describe as tower defense play and finally game packs are the Nightmare packs. Wooo tongue twisters.

Conclusions

I only scanned over the topics that I felt most would be curious to know but the over two hour town hall has plenty more info to dive into. What was introduction was Aggy in the beginning of the Town Hall mention how in the future there will be a platform for users to discuss the game events rather than a town hall where only developers speak. This would make it more open for all to discuss openly and hear each other's opinions. I think this is a good idea and hope as plans for moving ahead of producing such a platform will come soon.

Until next time thanks for reading!!!

It sounds like a lot of things were discussed in the town hall. I don't really attend them but I guess the CP to SPS changes will be happening soon.

The idea of a platform for none developers to discuss is a great idea. However it worries me because the Splinterlands community, has been too divided of late. I hope they mitigate the toxic environment as this positive move takes flight.
