Optimizing Assets Utilization
In past day or so I have been picking out cards for use in land plots but came across an astonishing stat about my use of my cards. I think like many veteran players who have a decent collection of cards there are plenty of them not in use. The question to myself and other veterans is what should we do with those cards that are not in use?
I currently have a staggering 848 cards that are accessible for me to play. They are not rented out, not delegated, and not used in land plots for staking. Out of that 848 there are only 80 cards that I use in battles.
This leads to 768 cards that are earning me nothing while in my position. The big question for me is what I can do with them to earn me more assets?
Selling the cards for DEC is one strategy. If I am not using the cards then having DEC I can stake it in land or provide In liquidity pools to earn more income. The drawback is I’m likely selling the cards into low prices as markets are no where near all time highs. This option I would least prefer as I never like selling low and buying high.
A second option is to group the cards to rent or rent individually to earn passive income. The drawback with this is the fee for each card to get on rental market is 1 DEC each. If I were to put out 768 DEC to have everyone of those cards out for rent I do know I am not yielding any where near that many DEC per a day. Furthermore there will be cards even at the lowest rental price possible that won’t get rented.
A lot of my cards not in use are level one cards. This leads me to want to merger several cards to lower my utilization numbers while increase likelihood the cards can be rented out. The drawback to this is the higher level cards will be harder to sell at higher prices than single bcx cards.
In conclusion my initial plan is to be a max of both leveling up some cards and renting out others. It will be like half and half. I would only sell the cards as a last resort.

Aye, I'm in a similar situation, selling is not an option for me right now, prices are too low and I do not want to crystallise a loss.
Many cards are unrentable, or as you say 0.1 DEC a day, these are cards I speculated on for future appreciation, but frankly, I think I have a long wait.
My strategy...view them as a sunk cost, rent them where I can, forget about them where I can't and periodically come back and review the rental/sale price situation
Too many cards in circulation relative to amount of players so it’s hard to keep card values up. Need more adoption in hopes of seeing card values rise.
There are advantages and disadvantages to all of it. I also have a lot of cards not being used and I need to spend some time later to clean that up.
True with the positive and negatives. All I’m looking for is more rewards for myself.
It's good that you are collecting cards now and in time you will see that their prices will go up and people won't be able to buy cards even to play land gameplay.
