Rebellion Pre-Sale Update + End of YGG Gap Season 34 Report
We have at least two full seasons before we can see the Rebellion cards in play (hopefully). Let's check how pre-sale is going, and what can still be obtained and later we will analyze the previous season. More information about the Rebellion set and pre-sale you can find here.
I have already tried to analyze the new abilities and feature in Rebellion here, and brawl speculation there :).
Below we have the statistics for current packs which was already sold:
It's almost 300k with bonus packs included, still 200k to go. Is there enough power to sell all of them? I sincerely doubt it, but let's check the leaderboard.
Here we have quite an interesting situation, the top position is rather safe, but I think that there could be a big fight for the last slot of card design. If you do not know, the top 6 players( or group of players) will have the opportunity to design one card for the Rebellion set, the same as in the previous set.
Of course, that's not all you can get. There are more, besides the packs:
Titles could be hidden gems, still need more cosmetics thing which could be used in-game, and a title could be a nice addition to anything related to that.

As you can see, I totally gave up playing modern league. After the change when your rating does not drop if you don't play any game, it is pointless to play it for me. The bot is doing okay as always, reaching a diamond rating at the end of the season.

The tournament was something I focused on more because I needed more points for the YGG GAP season. Unfortunately, I was not able to reach any top positions, so finally I think I failed to get a better leadership place. I will summarize that after we can see the final score.

It was quite a regular season regarding rewards: 4 packs and SPS amount on average level. We got more luck with soulbound cards: I think 4 legendaries is my season record if I remember correctly :).

As I mentioned that season I tried to get better scores in tournaments, so the rental was much more expensive. The effect was not exactly what I expected, but at least it helps to get better result in brawls as well.

I think we have quite a regular season for SPS rewards. After the change to LP only bigger luck with the chest could help to reach 1k SPS threshold.
We have still one month to the new Set full release. I hope that there will be no delay this time. I cannot wait to see the impact of that on meta in both formats. I hope with the new modernization of the code, there will be much smoother implementation of the Rebellion to tournaments and brawls, and we can play it almost immediately.

Interesting EoS data points. I really need to get back to publishing those summaries of my own just so I have an easier place to find all the info.
I typically let my wild bot play for the first half of the season until it can get my account safely into Champ 1 and hopefully maintain a leaderboard spot. Once this is achieved, I keep the bot off for the rest of the season and focus my efforts on trying to battle into Champ 1 in Human Modern. The last few seasons I've stumbled in high Champ 2 around the 4250 ranking but have not been able to break through to modern Champ 1. Hopefully this season will be different. I've got 5 days and a full energy meter to make it happen!
