Rebellion Brawl Update and Season 35 Report

Hey Splinterlanders,

The last time we got some fun speculating brawl freys update. We get official information about it, you can read it here. so now it's time to verify our speculation.
Firstly I'm positively surprised that we have so a fast update, just 3 days after the set release. That was one thing I was afraid that it could senselessly take much more time like last time when we were waiting for a modern update. A big plus for the dev team.

Another positive surprise for me is thee change about Alpha/Beta Frey. For sure now it's more demanding, but for sure more interesting as well.. As you can read in my previous article, I wasn't sure how big the changes would be, and I bet more on cosmetic changes. As before I will focus on Tiers where I usually play.

Tier 2

• 3 Chaos Legion Frays change to Rebellion Frays
• 1 Wild (All) Fray becomes Modern (Chaos + Rebellion)
• 1 Alpha + Beta Fray changes to A+B+U
• Untamed rotates out of Modern Frays

Here are all changes, I was thinking that will be less just Rebelion set, and we will still have option to play CL set. Unfortunetly now we got just Rebelion. Another change is replace one wild slot to modern, I think it's good thing. I haven't that on my mind.

Tier 3

• 1 Alpha + Beta Fray changes to A+B+U
• 1 Alpha + Beta Fray changes to Untamed + Chaos
• 1 Wild (All) Fray becomes Untamed + Chaos
• Untamed rotates out of Modern Frays

Tier 3 is quite similar, we lost all Chaos Legion set (unfortunately), and the same change to put more modern format in exchange for wild. I don't think we have more to add here.

In summary, changes are't so big. I really would like to see some more variety, solo set frays: chaos in tier 2, and Rebelion in tier 3. I think the change about Alpha/beta fray is good, fortunately I usualy don't have to play those frays :). My guessing about fray was quite close, but silently I was counting for some revolution :). As I mentioned before, recently I rely only on bots, performance is not excelent, but still enough to get some gold chest :). And you need to remember that I use silver level cards, so there is no need to complain.:)

YGG GAP season have just ended, so it's less incentive to play tournaments with better focus. Still the performance wasn't the worst. With limited collection sometimes I get better place in those higher payment tournaments, but it's not easy to fight all those OG players there :).

I think there is no more Chaos Legion packs in the chest, sad story. I hope we could see Rebellion packs soon. There was proposal for not doing this, but community is against it (me too :)). It was quite lucky season, 2 GFL (from focus quest), some bigger amount of SPS. Definetly one of the better season.

Still we cannot reach that 1k threshold, but the good thing is that sps price is going up :).

Good season, good updates, lands release, better economy (flywheel) , rebellion set in few days, is there anything more needed ? Of course, draft mode :). But in general I hope that will be turning points for Splinterlands ecosystem. And what do you think ?
