BATTLE MAGE SECRETS - Equal Opportunity! [PT/EN]

[PT]

Outra dica é a velocidade!

Hello Splinters, welcome back!

In each battle we have opportunities to immerse ourselves in different situations, rules that will totally change the dynamics we know, change the way some monsters behave. Splinterlands is a game where you will hardly feel bored, these variables make everything more fun!

Each battle is an opportunity to deal with different situations and those who manage to find solutions by choosing their team to face these adversities will have a better chance of winning.

Every week a challenge is launched by Splinterlands, from which players can report their battles, talk about their strategies, point of view and what are the best ways to use a battle rule in their favor. Today will be no different! Let's talk about the battle rule Equal Opportunity!

Well, the first thing we need to do. is to know what this battle rule affects the actions of monsters on the field, right?

Equal Opportunity
All monsters on the field gain the Opportunity Ability. Monsters with this skill will attack the monsters with the lowest health on the field.

With this rule, some benefits are added, for example, monsters with melee attack will be able to attack even if they are in the back row. Usually, players will choose this type of monster because there will be more options that have robust characteristics, great for taking attacks and some even have powerful attacks!

Another tip is speed! Higher speed will allow you to hit weaker monsters, eliminating them from combat faster. With this, your opponent will have less firepower throughout the battle and this is a good advantage. Another tip is that you need to pay attention to monsters with less health, as they will be the target of attacks. the good part is that you can set traps and catch your enemy off guard with a good strategy, using it as a destruction magnet!

Well, given some hints, it's time for you to check out a battle! Come with me!

In this battle we have 51 mana to be used. A good amount that will allow you to climb many monsters with tank characteristics and cause damage but with a lot of defense capacity. The Equal Opportunity battle rule is present and you already know what that means, but we're also going to have to deal with Reverse Speed, which makes the normally slower monsters the most fast! Also, magic attacks will find shields, via another rule you might notice.

Summoner:

The summoners is what determines a good part of the strategy that we have in mind. My opponent chose a summoner that camouflages his monsters from the back row, that is, my attacks will be assigned to the monsters in the first position. I choose a summoner that increases the firepower of melee monsters. This was an ideal choice, as my monsters will have this type of attack.

My lineup:

MonsterPurpose
My starting tank is a monster with only 1 speed, but since we are in the reverse speed rule, this will be a good trait. In addition, he can absorb half of the damage dealt.
My second monster is a war machine. It has a high attack and can attack twice per turn, if it manages to eliminate a monster, it can attack up to 3 times. A monster that has been empowered by the summoner and is a war machine!
As this is a guild dispute battle, I couldn't help but cast one of the best monsters in Splinterlands. Quora can launch two types of attacks and is an unprecedented war machine!
This monster was chosen for its skills and firepower, but mainly for having a low speed, ideal for dealing with the combat rule in evidence.
Another monster with the ability to attack twice per turn. He will be very important for our battle and with a very efficient offensive power.
Finally a monster just to complete the lineup, since I used a good part of the mana on the previous monsters.

Round by round

That first round was exclusively about trying to destroy my enemy's main tank. That's because he would be the only obstacle among their weaker monsters that were in the back row. but even killing him the first time, he was resurrected and without much work to kill him again.

Easier than I thought, his weakest monsters were falling on the battlefield. It was very easy to win this match!

Unsurprisingly, this battle ends in the third round! I didn't understand very well how my opponent chose so many weak monsters for this match, I think his intention was to keep the tank alive with several supports, but he didn't resist my strategy of total offensive.
