Os monstros são os protagonistas nos embates, cada qual com suas características. Identificar os melhores monstros para cada situação é primordial para aumentar as chances de vitória.

Hoje eu gostaria de falar sobre um dos melhores monstros da edição Chaos Legion pa a função de tank: CURSED WINDEKU!

Esse é um monstro raro, portador de ataque melee do elemento Morte. Vamos falar um pouco mais sobre ele a seguir.

CURSED WINDEKU é um dos melhores monstros para a função de tank em Splinterlands, talvez o melhor no formato moderno. Seus atributos são IncrÍveis para um custo relativamente baixo: alta quantidade de vida, presença ofensiva e boa velocidade.

Em muitas partidas a quantidade de mana é escassa, ter um monstro para aguentar ataques nessas condições vai fazer muita diferença. Partidas de pouca e média mana esse monstro será essencial, não só pelo atributos mas também por suas habilidades.

Vamos conferir quais são as possíveis habilidades para esse monstro:

Thorns Level ★1
Quando atingido com um ataque corpo a corpo, causa dano de volta ao atacante. Esse é um ótimo mecanismo de defesa contra ataques melee. Poder causar dano ao atacante ajudará a derruba-lo mais rápido.

Heal Level ★5
Restaura 1/3 da saúde máxima a cada rodada, arredondado para baixo. Essa é uma habilidade útil para manter esse monstro vivo por mais tempo, a alta quantidade de vida que ele possui torna essa uma habilidade muito importante..

Slow Level ★8
Reduz a velocidade de todos os monstros inimigos. Aproveitando que possui uma boa velocidade, ao adquirir Slow aumenta as suas chances de esquiva, além de ajudar o restante da equipe.

CURSED WINDEKU será uma ótima opção independente de qual nível estiver. Eu adoro usar esse monstro em nível de Liga gold quando já possui a capacidade de se curar. Um monstro com tantas qualidades com certeza é uma de minhas primeiras opções dentro de uma partida quando escolho o elemento morte.

Pensamentos finais: CURSED WINDEKU é um monstro brutal, que possui um excelente custo/ benefício. Uma máquina de matar em partidas de pouca e média mana e uma muralha para ajudar a equipe. Um monstro com chances de ter alta performance dentro de campo.

Em uma escala de 0 à10, minha nota para esse monstro é 9,5.

Se existe algo que traz valo para uma carta é sua demanda. A demanda pode varia por muitos fatores mas com certeza a qualidade é uma delas, além de funcionalidade. CURSED WINDEKU é uma de minha apostas para o futuro se tratando de especulação. Eu aposto na sua utilidade desde seu primeiro nível que poderá ser buscado por jogadores iniciantes e até mesmo para quem quiser melhorar o nível.

Isso obviamente não é uma indicação de investimento, porém eu tenho acumulado algumas cartas dessas para vender no futuro. acredito muito em sua valorização.

Agora chega de números e gráficos, vamos para uma batalha!!

Para essa partida temos o teto de 19 mana, pouco recurso, cada monstro deve ser escolhido com sabedoria e CURSED WINDEKU tem um grande potencial nessa batalha. A regra de combate não permite que monstros Sneak e Snipe tenha, seus efeitos ativados.

Eu escolho um summoner que diminui a vida e ataque mágico dos monstros rivais e meu oponente escolhe um que reflete ataques mágicos. Baseado em seu histórico de batalhas, eu decido não usar monstros com esse tipo de ataque, pois me daria desvantagem.

Minha escalação para essa partida foi assim:

Monstro	Objetivo
	Meu tank principal. Sua capacidade de se auto curar e bons atributos por um custo de mana baixo foi o principal motivo para ser escolhido.
	Um monstro que poderia ser um tank substituto por pouco custo já seria uma boa opção por si só. Além disso, poderia causar Afliction no possível tank inimigo o que me ajudaria na batalha a passar por cima de seu tank.
	Escolhido por não possui custo de mana e eu ainda ter espaços sobrando. Poderia desviar ataques de algum ataque Opportunity.
	Baixo custo e um bom ataque. Sua habilidade poderia tirar algum possível escudo e essa foi minha escolha.
	Um bom ataque para pouco custo. Por essa partida não permitir ataques Sneak, eu fico tranquilo em ter esse monstro na última posição.

De imediato temos dois tanks com a mesma capacidade, atributos empatados. O que poderá desiquilibra essa partida são os monstros da linha de trás. Do meu lado do campo tenho monstro mais ofensivos e isso pode ser uma boa saída pra derrubar o tank rival primeiro. Quem perde o tank primeiro tem mais chances de levar a pior nessa partida

Minha melhor capacidade ofensiva fez o tank rival cair primeiro. Feito isso, o caminho para a vitória ficou mais fácil.

Com toda certeza, o principal obstáculo que os dois lados enfrentaria seria derrubar o tank do outro lado, enfrentar CURSED WINDEKU com pouco recursos não é uma tarefa fácil. Por isso eu disse logo no começo que escolher os monstros sabiamente para uma partida de pouca mana seria essencial.

Essa foi uma partida de liga gold e ter os monstros em seus melhores níveis com certeza foi um dos fatores que me ajudaram a ser vitorioso. Meu adversário não contou com essa vantagens em alguns de seus monstros, porém identificar as melhores opções foi mais importante. Ele jogou bem , mas dessa vez eu levei a melhor.

Today I would like to talk about one of the best monsters in the Chaos Legion edition for the tank role: CURSED WINDEKU!

This is a rare monster, carrying Death element melee attack. We'll talk a little more about him later.

CURSED WINDEKU is one of the best monsters for tanking in Splinterlands, perhaps the best in the modern format. Its attributes are Awesome for a relatively low cost: high health, offensive presence, and good speed.

In many games the amount of mana is scarce, having a monster to withstand attacks in these conditions will make a lot of difference. Low and medium mana games this monster will be essential, not only for its attributes but also for its abilities.

Final thoughts: CURSED WINDEKU is a brutal monster, which has an excellent cost/benefit ratio. A killing machine in low and medium mana matches and a wall to help the team. A monster with chances to have high performance on the field.

My lineup for this match was like this:

	My main tank. Its ability to self-heal and good stats for a low mana cost was the main reason it was chosen.
	A monster that could be a cheap replacement tank would be a good option on its own. Also, it could cause Affliction on the possible enemy tank which would help me in the battle to get over their tank.
	Chosen because it has no mana cost and I still have spaces left. It could deflect attacks from some Opportunity attack.
	Low cost and a good attack. His skill could take away some possible shield and that was my choice.
	A good attack for little cost. Because this game doesn't allow Sneak attacks, I'm ok with having this monster in last position.

Immediately we have two tanks with the same capacity, attributes tied. What can unbalance this game are the monsters in the back row. On my side of the field I have more offensive monsters and this can be a good way to take down the rival tank first. Whoever loses the tank first is more likely to get the worst in this match

My best offensive ability made the rival tank go down first. That done, the path to victory became easier.

For sure, the main obstacle that both sides would face would be taking down the tank on the other side, facing CURSED WINDEKU with little resources is not an easy task. That's why I said early on that choosing monsters wisely for a low mana match would be essential.

This was a gold league match and having the monsters at their best levels was definitely one of the factors that helped me to be victorious. My opponent didn't have this advantage on some of his monsters, but identifying the best options was more important. He played well, but this time I got the better of him.
