Today I want to share with you a very interesting new battle, this time I will use a card that I got recently, Vampire, a death type card that has a very interesting ability, Vampirism, which allows you to gain health points as you It inflicts damage to the rival cards, although it has a somewhat important disadvantage, since it has only one health point.
Something important about this card is that I thought it would recover health according to the damage it did to the enemies, and since it has two health points, I thought it would gain more, but it only won one at a time. Seeing that it is not very fast, I chose a bad position to play it, since if my opponent played a card with Chance, I could eliminate it quickly, since it does not have much speed either, but luckily it was not like that, and I ended up taking the victory.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una nueva batalla muy interesante, esta vez utilizaré una carta con la cual me hice hace poco, Vampire, una carta de tipo muerte que tiene una habilidad muy interesante, Vampirismo, que le permite ganar puntos de salud a medida que inflige daño a las cartas rivales, aunque cuenta con una desventaja un tanto importante, ya que cuenta con solo un punto de salud.
Algo importante de esta carta es que pensé que recuperaría salud de acuerdo al daño que le hiciera a los enemigos, y como tiene dos puntos de salud, pensé que ganaría más, pero solamente ganaba de a uno solo. Viendo que no es muy rápido, elegí una mala posición para jugarlo, ya que si mi rival jugaba alguna carta con Oportunidad, lo podía eliminar rápidamente, ya que tampoco cuenta con mucha velocidad, pero por suerte no fue así, y termine llevándome la victoria.

Looking at the previous games played by my opponent, I decided that using Thaddius Brood as the summoner was the best option along with Bone Golem in the first position, since it would not only decrease his magic attack points and health, but also thanks to the ability of the second, many attacks from the ground deck are reduced to 0, due to its characteristics.
Al ver las anteriores partidas jugadas por mi rival, decidí que utilizar como invocador a Thaddius Brood era la mejor opción junto con Bone Golem en la primera posición, ya que no solo disminuiría sus puntos de ataque mágico y su salud, sino que además gracias a la habilidad del segundo, muchos ataques del mazo de tierra son reducidos a 0, por las características del mismo.
Assuming the cards my opponent would play, I decided not to play a lure before my Vampire position, since a normal land deck has no Chance cards, so I decided to play creatures with a good damage range and low mana cost, since my victory would depend on how fast I could take out my opponent's tank.
Knowing that normally players who use this deck play Goblin Psychic to heal the tank's health points, I took a chance on Maggots to try to remove it as soon as possible, but my opponent was more cunning, positioning a lure first, preventing him from removing it. quickly, but as you will see, its importance was even greater.
Suponiendo las cartas que jugaría mi rival, decidí no jugarme un señuelo antes de la posición de mi Vampire, ya que un mazo normal de tierra no tiene cartas con Oportunidad, por lo que decidí jugarme criaturas con un buen rango de daño y con un bajo costo de maná, ya que mi victoria dependería de que tan rápido pudiera eliminar el tanque de mi rival.
Sabiendo que normalmente los jugadores que utilizan este mazo juegan a Goblin Psychic para sanar los puntos de salud del tanque, me la jugué con Maggots para intentar eliminarla lo antes posible, pero mi rival fue más astuto, posicionando primero un señuelo, evitando que la eliminará rápidamente, pero como ya verán, su importancia fue aún mayor.

My predictions were mostly correct, when I played this combination between summoner and tank my chances of winning were very high, but it all depended on what my other cards did, since the only real danger was Unicorn Mustang.
Mis predicciones fueron correctas en su mayoría, al jugar esta combinación entre invocador y tanque mis probabilidades de ganar eran altísimas, pero todo dependía de lo que hicieran mis demás cartas, pues el único peligro real era Unicorn Mustang.
At the end of the summoners and monsters effects, my rival had a lot of magic power, but I attacked with so many monsters in the second line, I had a chance to win, plus the shields blocked at least the attacks from his first card.
Al final de los efectos de los invocadores y otros monstruos, las cartas de mi rival perdieron un punto de salud, además de que logré neutralizar completamente el efecto de su invocador, mientras que mis cartas no sufrieron ningún cambio.
The first round was uneventful, my Maggots took out the opposing bait and our tanks took damage, but as I mentioned before, the real disappointment for me was seeing Vampire only gain 1 health despite doing 2 damage.
La primera ronda no tuvo muchas emociones, mi Maggots eliminó al anzuelo rival y nuestras tanques fueron lastimados, pero como ya lo mencioné antes, la verdadera decepción mía fue ver como Vampire solo ganó 1 punto de salud pese a realizar un daño de 2.
In the second round I had some luck, because by leaving my rival's Unicorn Mustang very touched, my Maggots ended up eliminating it, a situation that gave me the victory, since otherwise I would have lost my Bone Golem in the next attack.
En la segunda ronda tuve algo de suerte, pues al dejar muy tocado al Unicorn Mustang de mi rival, mi Maggots lo terminó eliminando, situación que me dió la victoria, ya que de lo contrario hubiera perdido a mi Bone Golem en el siguiente ataque.
Without his tank, the rest of his cards fell very easily, although despite the fact that I've always had bad experiences against Royal Peryton, in this game I eliminated him without missing any attack.
Ya sin su tanque, el resto de sus cartas fueron cayendo muy fácilmente, aunque pese a que siempre he tenido malas experiencias contra Royal Peryton, en esta partida lo eliminé sin fallar ningún ataque.
This was my entry for the Splinterlands social media challenge, I hope you liked this battle using Vampire, a card that honestly has caused me some disappointment, but that I will have to continue using to see if I can devise a strategy where it is essential, because his ability looks very good, and his attack is not negligible at all.
And as surprising as it may seem, Maggots has always been a very underestimated card for me, since honestly I had never seen much use for it, but games like this remind me that there are no bad cards, only bad players,

Y por sorprendente que parezca, Maggots siempre ha sido una carta muy subestimada por mí, pues sinceramente nunca le había visto demasiada utilidad, pero partidas como estás me recuerdan que no hay malas cartas, sino malos jugadores, jajaja.
