Scenes from the woods

While we were walking in the mountains yesterday, I was inspired to play with this device that captures objects and scenes. You know what gadget we are talking about, right? A photo camera. However, I somehow feel inappropriate to say that I was taking photos, so I prefer to say to play.

Reason - I can't say that I knew what I was doing. Those who are real photographers here will know that there are many things to know to capture the moment, and the scene, and to say something with your photo. To tell a story with a single photo.

Still, I liked the idea of trying to take a photo of this little red leaf. Actually, it reminded me a bit of the last photo from this post that I saw just the night before. Not that they look like a lot, but both of them represent a dying leaf which started its transformation process.

DSC_6559.JPG

About the holes in the leaf from the first photo, I am not sure if the bugs made them. Probably it was the cold that damaged its warm-coloured tissue. We are in December, and it is not a surprise that colder nights can bring some difficult times to deciduous vegetation. However, warmth and an autumn scene are what is somehow preserved there. At least, I feel the photo in that way.

The next one - here we talk about December and the upcoming holiday. Don't you think these little berries are like ornaments hidden among the branches of a Christmas tree? Shy, little Christmas balls. They know it's too early to be in the spotlight and to be shown in their true glory. {what an excuse lol}

DSC_6596.JPG

We walked a lot yesterday so I got to see more details in the woods. In one of the bushes, there was a feather. Probably a bird that just lost it... or left it on purpose to serve as a Christmas decoration in the bush? Any possibility can be valid, the thing is that we can build up the story in our mind but a photo should be the starting point. This is the humble result of my attempt, but here you can add to it and improve it in your vision.

This little compilation of autumn/winter scenes from the woods that show some warm-coloured details finishes with a different photo. Maybe we can feel it doesn't belong here as the tones are much colder, but what connects them is that all of them were born in my playing activity. They are here to practice the peace of mind state too. 😉

Walking in the woods in the mountains, walking uphill... can give many things haha, like that I couldn't walk yesterday evening as my knee was hurting that much hahaha, but it is good today. And yes, we can discover some cool scenes 😇

I had a good walk at the park too yesterday and captured some autumn leaves... It's like walking in the woods too because of the place surrounded with trees 😊
Those autumn leaves you captured are cute..

When a park is big, and gives the feeling of being in the woods - it is perfect! You don't have to move from the city but still you are in nature :))

These scenes are close to that portal, that you used today, so you can see all of this with your eyes now, in real. Oh, but it's dark, as I already said a few hours ago 😂

Thank you señor Artista Pumástico! Will try to keep on playing sometimes with this already old Japanese device 📸

I love the colours that autumn and winter give us, I really like them. A beautiful composition of this season. The first picture and the one with the feather are my favourites. What a beauty!😍

The first is also my favourite, it is like a little face, that leaf, right?
😊

Is she sad because it's autumn? If it looks like a face .... do you also see formations in nature?

I think not too sad, as those are the laws of nature. It is acceptance. But we see just the eyes of that leaf, not the lips if it is smiling or not.

You're right, it's better to think that he's happy and that he's completing one cycle to start another.

Looking at your post and the leaf I think both the insect and the cold acted on it, you can see the coloration change on the edges and the holes are very well marked there could have been the insect, the stems are starting to dry out.
I would like to think @mipiano that the feather flew and fell there so that your post looked its best. What a facility you have to describe and narrate what your eyes see. I congratulate you. I learn a lot from you. ☃️🌹❤️

You are right and a good observer. It is probably both. And you have a great ability to write and describe, so we all can learn from each other here. Thank you for your visit, @mamani 😇

Each image tells a story, which is not just one, but as many as the eyes that look at them are capable of imagining. So that leaf for me is part of a masquerade of elves. It's just that it's on display and the goblin who will use it hasn't gone to pick it up.

The second photo speaks to me of pain. These leaves look like beaten skin... and the dry branches, the soul of that person... khjsdghjg/ we'd better move on to the next one...

Then comes the elves' amusement park... 😁

The feather is the metamorphosis of an elf in love. He has flown so far and feels tired, when he arrives at his kingdom, the evidence of his long journey remains.

In the last photo, the girl chronicler of the Elvish world, already needed to rest because her knee was hurting.

This is a whole story! A cool one, of course, with elves. That first leaf with two holes looks like a face to me, but it can easily be a face mask for an elf, you are right. The second photo is pain and death, so yeah, let's skip it hahaha. Amusement park 😂

Thanks for your version of the scenes from the woods 📝

I think I have seen the third picture before, but I can't recollect where exactly. I love the 4th picture that has a feather like flower. The brown feather made it look beautiful

Do you mean that you have seen that plant from that picture or the picture itself? That would mean you somehow came and saw when I took the photo. Oh, you were the bird and it was your feather 😁

😂 😂 I haven't seen it anywhere though, i am just saying that i love the content in the picture and it looks beautiful.

Playing is always best!! I think little kills inspiration as much as getting too serious?
...which means; I enjoyed what you came up with (tho avoid the word "photo") :))

That red leaf has something special. I don't know, something emotional, it's just so alone in there hehe.
