Sitting back yesterday evening after my exams, i saw this topic and I started pondering on it, i reflected on it, i even started asking myself..... At some point I was like how smart can #hivenaija be, because this is a very critical thinking question that requires you to reason.

At some point i was like, most of us just came in and added some people even without knowing them and off the go. I realize that me self, o haven't asked myself this questions before, and today i am going to give a very simple answer to why i followed my 5 most important people on hive.

When i joined hive some months ago, the person that was leading me was like, add everyone you see there, go to communities and subscribe so that people can follow you back and start engaging in this post. I discovered that those random users i followed were just there in my following list doing nothing. But when I got used to hive on my own and started exploring on it, i discovered that the were more valuable people i could learn from too.

I started following those ones, and these ones usually engage my post,help me grow and we even have fun here on hive..

why i followed this hive users

Firstly, i didn't just follow them because i wanted to follow them, i followed them with a driven purpose and because of other things.

This was someone who introduced me to hive, at some point, when i check his profile i will feel that he has really gone far and that i will not be able to engage in this hive platform like he usually does..

The beautiful thing is that he is very consistent here on hive... What drew me to him was his consistenty spirit. A day will never pass without him making post and collecting upvotes, so i started striving to also do at least 2 post a day in few communities, and trust me, it worked for me. Because he was also encouraging me, that i will soon reach there if i sm consistent.

This was was my assistant teacher too., this one Will be shouting at me up and down because she also want me to grow on hive just like she is doing.
One thing about her is that she always discover new things on hive by herself... But she won't let someone hear something. What drew me to her was her act of commitment.
Even when they were not giving her upvotes like before, but she didn't stopped like I did.
At some points, i usually get upset that i will suffer and write 1,000 words but no upvotes.... Then she will tell me, keep writing don't stop...
I followed her because she usually ginger me to make post...

I have never seen or talk to her before, i just knew her here on hive. I discovered that anytime i made post, she will always come and comment and atleast say something, i was always eager to know who she was, i didn't even know that she is one sweet soul like that.
One of the days, i went to her profile and discovered that she is sn old member of hive platform, she had grown her account and i will Smile and tell myself, one one day, my account too will be like this.
I went back another and followed her but dhe haven't followed me back sha ..... But i know that right now we are friends.

I don't know her either, but i used to see her post everytime i come online on this platform, she doesn't lack words to say. I followed her because i love reading her post, her post makes Sense a lot.... And sometimes it usually encourage me not to give up even when the journey looks tough.

She is one of the few persons too that usually comment on my post anytime i post. I had to go back and check on who she was on her profile. She had gew her HP and everything, and sometimes i will ask myself, how do they do it... I'm always marvelled by the fact that they have soooo far....

But in all of this, i will sometimes compare my account with theirs, and then tell myself, i will reach there sometimes, very soon.
