Low Mana battles are really difficult to play. I have been playing them with death splinter as it has some good choices but with Chaose Legion, this choice has extended to almost all of the splinters, specially, Furious Chicken has to share its kingdom with many other Chaose Legion Monsters.

Hopefully my choices will help you esp for the death splinter. I do agree the chicken is going to be the #1 for those low mana games and the king of 0 mana cards.
