Llego un nuevo #BattleMageSecrets en #Splinterlands y esta vez tenemos uno de los rulesets mas interesantes que tiene el juego pues limita la que es practicamente la primera regla no escrita del juego. Continuo jugando en el formato Wild porque como ya habia dicho, quiero practicar mis habilidades en ese formato para continuar jugando torneos.
Ultimamente me ha ido muy bien en ellos y me divierto mucho jugandolos, ademas que mi porcentaje de ganancia ha crecido mucho gracias a esto, no tengo dudas de que el sistema de rentas de SPS ha sido una implementacion excelente para el ecosistema.
Pero continuemos hablando de este nuevo Battle Mage Secrets, donde tenemos como protagonista al ruleset Keep Your Distance, asi que vamos a hablar de el.
Here comes a new #BattleMageSecrets in #Splinterlands and this time we have one of the most interesting rulesets that the game has because it limits what is practically the first unwritten rule of the game. I continue playing in the Wild format because as I said, I want to practice my skills in that format to continue playing tournaments.
Lately I have been doing very well participating on tournaments and I have a lot of fun playing them, plus my winning percentage has grown a lot thanks to this, I have no doubt that the SPS income system has been an excellent implementation for the ecosystem.
But let's continue talking about this new Battle Mage Secrets from Splinterlands on Hive, where we have as protagonist the ruleset Keep Your Distance, so let's talk about it.
Keep Your Distance
Una de las primeras cosas que aprendemos en Splinterlands es la posicion de las cartas, todos sabemos que las cartas Melee son las mejores para usar como tanque en las batallas, pero ¿y si no puedes usarlas?
Eso es justamente lo que provoca el ruleset Keep Your Distance, pues elimina de la batalla a todas las cartas que tengan ataque Melee, prohibiendo su uso.
Esto aplica para todas las cartas que posean ataque Melee, incluidas las que tienen dos tipos de ataque, es decir si una carta tiene ataque magico y ataque melee (como Agor Longtail o Quora Towershead) quedara baneada de la batalla en cuestión.
¿Cómo sacarle provecho a este ruleset?
Puede sonar un poco tonto pero la mejor forma de sacarle provecho al ruleset es evitar por completo aquellas habilidades que son potencial para el ataque Melee, como Inspire y enfocar a tu equipo tanto en atacar con magia y ranged como defenderte justamente de eso, pues es 100% seguro que no habrán cartas melee en contra.
¿Cómo hacerle counter?
Vas a tener que tener muy presente todas las características de la batalla para entender donde existen los puntos debiles que puedes aprovechar y sacarle partido para tu beneficio, ya que no hay maneras directas de hacerle counter a este ruleset.
One of the first things we learn when we start to playing Splinterlands is the position of the cards on the field, we all know that Melee cards are the best to use as a tank in battles, but what if you can't use them?
That is exactly what causes the Keep Your Distance ruleset, because it eliminates from the battle all cards that have Melee attack, prohibiting its use.
This applies to all cards that have Melee attack on the Splinterlands set, including those that have two types of attack, i.e. if a card has both Melee and Magic attack (such as Agor Longtail or Quora Towershead) it will be banned from the battle in question.
How to take advantage of this ruleset?
It may sound a bit silly or obvius but the best way to take advantage of the ruleset is to completely avoid those abilities that are potential for Melee attack, such as Inspire and focus your team both in attacking with magic and ranged and defend yourself from just that, because it is 100% sure that there will be no melee cards against you.
How to counter him?
You will have to be very aware of all the characteristics of the battle you're playing to understand where there are weaknesses that you can exploit and take advantage of for your benefit, as there are no direct ways to counter this ruleset on the game.

✨Round 1✨
Esta es una batalla de mi ultima Brawl en la que me ocurrio algo inusual, y es que me decidi a usar a Alric como invocador aunque solo use una carta con ataque magico, y esto fue porque las cartas disponibles en los otros splinters no eran para nada productivas en esta batalla.
Lord Arianthus es un tanque excelente en este ruleset por su combinacion de habilidades, ya que aguanta daño de absolutamente todo tipo de enemigos, una maravilla para este tipo de batallas.
Enchanted Pixie se beneficia del bono del invocador y con eso va a provocar mucho daño.
Crustacean King va a curar a Arianthus con su primera habilidad, ademas de que va haciendo daño en cada turno.
Al ser una batalla de brawl y tener poco mana es un momento perfecto para usar a Alfredo, con el blast es bastante probable que active su bloodlust.
Por ultimo, Pirate Archer que tiene muy buen ataque y gran velocidad para provocar mas daño en area.
This is a battle of my last Brawl in which something unusual happened to me, and that is that I decided to use Alric as a summoner even though I only used a card with magic attack, and this was because the cards available in the other splinters were not at all productive in this battle.
Lord Arianthus is an excellent tank in this ruleset because of his combination of abilities, since he takes damage from absolutely all types of enemies, a marvel for this kind of battles.
Enchanted Pixie benefits from the summoner's bonus and will deal a lot of damage.
Crustacean King will heal Arianthus with its first ability, in addition to dealing damage every turn.
Being this a brawl battle and having such a little mana cap is a perfect time to use Alfredo, with the blast is quite likely to activate his bloodlust.
Finally, Pirate Archer has a very good attack and great speed to cause more damage in area.

El Magic Reflect enemigo fue mortal para mi Enchanted Pixie y eso lo hizo caer primero en la batalla, poniendome las cosas un poco dificiles pues el blast seguia haciendo de las suyas y el Prismatic Energy con su alta vitalidad estaba siendo un verdadero dolor de cabeza.
The enemy Magic Reflect was deadly for my Enchanted Pixie and that made him fall first in the battle, making things a little difficult for me because the blast was still doing its thing and the Prismatic Energy with its high vitality was being a real headache.

La batalla continuaba igual que en la ronda anterior, y mi Crustacean King estaba a punto de caer por culpa del daño del Prismatic Energy enemigo, la buena noticia es que su carta tambien estaba a punto de caer y una vez terminado, mi equipo no tendria rival.
The battle continued as in the previous round, and my Crustacean King was about to fall because of the blast damage of the enemy Prismatic Energy, the good news is that his card was also about to fall and once finished, my team would have no rival.

Esta fue la ronda crucial de la batalla pues hasta este punto, cualquiera de los dos podia ganar. La velocidad de mis cartas fue crucial para poder ponerme en ventaja.

Una vez cayeron sus cartas secundarias su Arianthus quedo condenado al fracaso, pues no tiene ataque y por si sola es una carta inutil, toda su fuerza esta en los compañeros que tiene a su alrededor. Cuando aprendes eso y a usarlo a tu favor empiezas a sacarle el maximo provecho a tus cartas.
Once all his secondary cards fell his Lord Arianthus was doomed to failure on this battle, because it has no attack and by itself is a useless card, all his strength is in the companions he has around him. When you learn that and use it to your advantage you start to get the most out of your cards.
Entender los puntos debiles donde le puedes sacar ventaja a tu enemigo es primordial para convertirte en un buen jugador ¡enfocate en mejorar eso y veras como tu winrate aumentará muchisimo!
