Guia de como usar Hive para jugadores de Splinterlands [ESP-ENG] Guide on how to use Hive for Splinterlands players
Seguramente habras escuchado por ahi que publicar contenido en Splintertalk es una gran forma de obtener un ingreso extra y la verdad es que si, lo es, pero al iniciar sesion en la blockchain con tu cuenta de Hive puedes quedar agobiado con todos los pasos que hay que dar antes de publicar tu contenido, lo que te puede hacer retractarte de hacerlo, pero no te preocupes, en esta guia voy a ayudarte a dominar cada uno de los pasos que necesitas para que empieces hoy mismo a expresar tus ideas en tus posts y a ser recompensado por ello. Asi que pues, ¡empecemos!
You've probably heard out there on Splinterlands groups that publishing content on Splintertalk and Hive is a great way to earn extra income and the truth is that yes, it is, My account is proof of that, but when you log into the blockchain with your Hive account you can get overwhelmed with all the steps to take before publishing your content, which can make you back out of doing it, but don't worry, in this guide I will try to help you master each of the steps you need to start today to express your ideas in your posts and get rewarded for it with your posts. So let's get started!
Primeros pasos.
Lo primero que debes hacer es obviamente hacer login, para eso basta con usar tu cuenta de Keychain en Peakd (Hay otras formas de ingresar usando tus keys pero me parece que Keychain es la opcion mas facil y rapida). Yo recomiendo usar Peakd porque tiene una interfaz mas completa que la de Hive y Splintertalk, no te precocupes, el contenido que escribas en Peakd aparecerá en ambos sitios mencionados antes igualmente, mas adelante explico como se hace, aunque te digo de una vez que es demasiado sencillo. Una vez que ingresaste con tu cuenta de Hive te vas a ir a buscar el editor de post, pero primero un pequeño tour:
First Steps.
The first thing to do is obviously to login, for that you just need to use your Peakd Keychain account (There are other ways to login using your keys but I find Keychain to be the easiest and fastest option). I recommend using Peakd because it has a more complete interface and a better post editor than Hive and Splintertalk, don't worry, the content you write in Peakd will appear in both sites mentioned before as well, later I will explain how to do it, although I tell you once and for all that it is too simple as put a couple of tags in your publication. Once you are logged in with your Hive account you can customize it and then go to the post editor, but first a little tour:
1: Ver tu feed, es como tu muro de Facebook, pero en Hive, ves los posts de interes para ti segun las cuentas que sigues.
2: Puedes explorar los tags que quieras para ver contenido en especifico.
3: Puedes buscar comunidades que hablen de un tema en concreto, ejemplo, la de Splinterlands.
4: Pues, un buscador, busca una cuenta en particular, un post, lo que necesites.
5: El editor de Post, sera nuestro aliado a partir de hoy.
6: Un chat integrado a la blockchain.
7: Las notificaciones, quien te votó, quien te comentó, quien compartió tu post, todo aparece aqui.
8: Tu perfil, puedes ver ahi tu wallet, editar tus preferencias y personalizar tu perfil asi como ver las opciones.
1: Your feed, like your Facebook wall, but in Hive, you see the posts of interest to you according to the accounts you follow.
2: You can browse the tags you want to see specific content.
3: You can search for communities that talk about a specific topic, by example, Splinterlands.
4: Well, a search engine, for a particular account, a post, whatever you need.
5: The Post editor, will be our ally from today to the rest of the days.
6: A chat integrated to the blockchain.
7: Notifications, who voted you, who commented you, who shared your post, everything appears here.
8: Your profile, you can see there your wallet, edit your preferences and customize your profile as well as see the options.
Creditos de Recursos.
Los creditos de recursos te permiten (y te limitan en ciertos casos) de publicar contenido en la Blockchain, casi todo jugador de Splinterlands ha chocado con esto en algun momento con sus partidas y para escribir en Hive pasa lo mismo, hay que saber manejarlo cuando se tiene poco RC, mi colega @khoranos publico este post donde explica de muy buena manera como administrar y aumentar tus RC para que no tengas problemas a la hora de publicar contenido.
HP (Poder de voto)
No los confundas con los RC, el HP es el Hive que mantienes en staking en tu cuenta y determina el tamaño de tu voto en los post, por ende, mientras mas HP tengas mas alto sera tu voto en los post y a su vez aumentan tus RC asi que si o si, es necesario subir el HP, publicar contenido es una excelente manera de hacerlo porque las publicaciones se pagan de la siguiente forma:
50% al autor / 50% a los curadores (votantes del post)
de tu 50%, 25% va en forma de HP y 50% va en forma de HBD (moneda estable relativa al dolar en Hive)
Quiere decir esto, tu post vale 100, son 50 para los votantes del post y 50 para ti, que van 25 al HP y 25 en HBD, el HP se puede retirar con un proceso llamado power down que te lo entrega de forma semanal durante 13 semanas.
Resource Credits.
Resource credits allow you (and limit you in some cases) to publish content on the Blockchain, almost every Splinterlands player has encountered this at some point with their games and to write in Hive the same thing happens, you have to know how to manage it when you have little CR, my colleague @khoranos published this post where he explains in a very good way how to manage and increase your CR so you don't have problems when publishing content.
HP (Voting Power)
Do not confuse them with the RC, the HP is the Hive that you keep in staking in your account and determines the size of your vote in the posts, therefore, the more HP you have the higher will be your vote in the posts and in turn increase your RC so if or if, it is necessary to raise the HP, publish content is an excellent way to do it because the publications are paid in the following way:
50% to the author / 50% to the curators (voters of the post)
of your 50%, 25% goes in the form of HP and 50% goes in the form of HBD (stablecoin relative to the dollar in Hive).
Meaning this, your post is worth 100, that's 50 to the voters of the post and 50 to you, which goes 25 HP/25 HBD, the HP can be withdrawn with a process called power down which gives it to you on a weekly basis for 13 weeks.

En esta parte no puedo mas que darte consejos, porque tu contenido va a ser tuyo y tu decides que publicar, pero primero, debes saber:
En Hive, el plagio es castigado fuertemente, evitar copiar contenido de otro lugar y pegarlo en Hive porque de seguro vas a recibir votos negativos por eso e incluso puedes ser baneado de las comunidades.
Debes agregar las fuentes de las cuales estas obteniendo contenido que no te pertenece, por ejemplo imágenes, videos o citas del texto de alguien mas.
El editor es bastante completo pero hay ciertos códigos que no están allí y que te dejan personalizar al post a un grado superior, por ejemplo este texto dividido que estoy escribiendo yo, no se puede hacer con el editor de Hive, si quieres que haga un tutorial explicando a detalle los códigos, deja tu comentario al final de este post.
Se original con tu contenido, busca la forma de destacar entre la multitud con tus publicaciones.
Los Tags.
Las etiquetas (topics) son muy importantes porque categorizan tu post entre todos los de la comunidad, al publicar en Peakd tu post se publica de igual forma en Hive ya que Peakd es un Frontend de esa plataforma, hay que tener logica con esto, si escribes un post sobre tus recompensas Splinterlands y le colocas un tag de, por ejemplo, ''Fotografia'' ese post aparecerá en ese topic que no tiene nada que ver con lo que tu estas escribiendo, por lo que tu contenido bien puede no ser visto ni votado por nadie ahi, ya que no estan interesados en ese tema, o tambien obtener votos negativos por hacer justo eso, publicar contenido donde no debes, los tags usuales de Splinterlands son:
SPLINTERLANDS
PLAY2EARN
STEEMMONSTERS
SPT (este es importante colocarlo, ya que al hacerlo tu post aparecera tanto en Hive y Peakd como en Splintertalk).
Los primeros 5 tags categorizan tus posts y los siguientes 5 se usan para tribus (otros frontends), te recomiendo usar:
- 1UP
- PGM
- NEOXIAN

In this part I can only give you advice, because your content is going to be yours and you decide what to publish, but first, you must know:
In Hive, plagiarism is strongly punished, avoid copying content from somewhere else and paste it in Hive because for sure you will receive negative votes for that and you can even be banned from the communities.
You must add the sources from which you are getting content that does not belong to you, for example images, videos or quotes from someone else's text.
The editor is quite complete but there are certain codes that are not there and let you customize the post to a higher degree, for example this split text that I am writing, can not be done with the Hive editor, if you want me to make a tutorial explaining in detail the codes, leave your comment at the end of this post.
Be original with your content, find a way to stand out from the crowd with your publications.
The Tags.
The tags (topics) are very important because they categorize your post among all the community, when you publish in Peakd your post is published in the same way in Hive since Peakd is a Frontend of that platform, you have to have logic with this, if you write a post about your Splinterlands rewards and you put a tag of, for example, ''Photography'' that post will appear in that topic that has nothing to do with what you are writing, so your content may well not be seen or voted by anyone there, as they are not interested in that topic, or also get negative votes for doing just that, post content where you should not, the usual tags of Splinterlands are:

STEEMMONSTERS
SPT (this is important to place it, because when you do it your post will appear in Hive and Peakd as well as in Splintertalk).
The first 5 tags categorize your posts and the next 5 are used for tribes (other frontends), I recommend you use:

Es importante que elijas correctamente la comunidad en la que vas a publicar tu post, Splinterlands tiene su comunidad propia, si no eliges tu la comunidad, el post se publicará solo en tu perfil y lo verán solo tus seguidores, si tienes pocos, seguramente obtendrás pocos votos y poca visibilidad.

Estos consejos no se categorizan solo para Splinterlands, en Hive hay muchas comunidades que abarcan muchos temas asi que si quieres encontrar algo mas alla, buscalo, que seguro existe.
Reinvierte, siempre y dentro de lo que puedas permitirte, reinvierte tus ganancias para asi crecer tu cuenta (La de Hive, la de Splinterlands, o ambas)

Comparte no solo en Hive, si no en otras redes, Twitter es uno de los mejores lugares para hacerlo, esto ayuda a mejorar la visibilidad de tus posts.
Aprende de otros y comparte lo que aprendes con aquellos que no lo saben, es la forma correcta de crecer organicamente, es mejor tener 100 seguidores que saben que tu contenido es excelente, a tener 1000 seguidores que no tienen ni idea de quien eres o sobre que escribes.

- Canva es perfecto para hacer portadas e imagenes para tus posts, es gratuita y muy facil de usar.
- Cite This For Me, crea citas de manera correcta solo agregando los datos.
- Pixabay u otros bancos de imagenes gratuitas.
Y por ultimo, disfruta lo que haces, como dije antes, que tu ganancia no sea solo monetaria si no que el conocimiento te nutra y te prepare para otros proyectos que tengas, si te gusta escribir, Hive es un entrenamiento espectacular para eso.
