Is it worth using Lux Vega? [ESP-ENG]

Acompáñame a analizarlo.

Hello and welcome to a new post!

The first Neutral summoner of the game, Lux Vega has been in Splinterlands for some time now, yet it is still one of the rarest cards in the game due to its properties and stats, starting with the fact that there are only maximum level copies of this card on the game, and also that it was a Promo card when it was launched, so not many players own this card and given its rarity, it may be a waste of resources to buy it or rent it to play at low ranks and even in gold rank, however there is a question I asked myself since it came out and that today I intend to answer in this post: Is this card really worth it?

Join me to analyze it.

Analyzing the card.

The first oddity that we encounter when we see this card is that it is a summoner but has no Splinter, so it is a Neutral card. Its operation is as follows:

  • It is somewhat similar to Splinter Dragon on the mechanics, as it allows you to summon any of the available splinters in battle (only 1 of them, not all at once) with the exception of Splinter Dragon.

I remember that when I knew this mechanic I thought that this card was not going to be useful for anything that could not be done with the splinter dragon but.... Is it really like that?

The first real potential of this card lies in two things. The first one is the stats this summoner brings to your cards, a combination of three bonuses that no other card in the game brings, this is very important for the fact of being neutral, because although there are summoners that can resemble Lux Vega, they are of specific splinters and that limits them, while Lux does not suffer this.

The second is its mana cost, of only five points, which makes it perfect to play it in almost any condition on the game, for example, thanks to its bonuses it can be excellent with 1 mana point cards in 13 point battles, and that's just the beginning.

Speaking of its value.

There is nothing hidden in this, it is an expensive card, in every sense. Renting it costs 65 cents per day (83 if it's gold) and buying it ranges from $1100 to $3500 (for now).

image.png

The most curious thing is that there are only 7 regular cards on the market right now, and 2 gold ones. This is what makes them so expensive and rare. While for rent there are about 35, which is not much either.

It can be deduced that the vast majority of players who own this card are using it to play battles and that those who bought it only with the idea of speculating with its price on the market, are waiting for the long awaited Bull market to come to bring out their incredible cards to the market. Time will tell, but for now what is certain is that this card is not easy to obtain in any way.

IF it were in my power to invest at this level, I would buy as many as I could, because with that rental price you can make an annual profit of almost $300 and I don't even have an idea of the value that this card could have in a bull market, but I'm sure it will be very high (NotFinancialAdvice).

And most importantly... Its performance!

Of course its rarity is important to give value to the card on the financial but this is a game and what matters is how it performs on the game and that is what will end up answering us if it is worth having it or not, although for this point of the analysis for me it is worth every penny, and that only thinking about the revaluation that it will have at the time.

Taking Sides + Ferocity + Super Sneak; 42 Mana

This summoner is widely used in Champions and Diamond, and rightly so, because it is an excellent card. As I mentioned above, it combines very good bonuses and has a very "family friendly" mana cost.

I think its speed bonus is the most important of all but that does not detract from the value of the other two, they are basic bonuses but with strategy you can enhance too much and that's what is special about this card.

  • This is how the cards look after receiving the Lux Vega bonuses.

It is just the combination of abilities of your other cards that makes this summoner shine on the battles and vice versa, this card maker your cards shine with it bonus. Notice that the player below focuses on boosting the summoner's bonuses, using Adelade Brigtwing to increase speed and repair armor and Djinn Renova to increase the life of the cards, making Lux Vega's bonuses even more important.

Of course he uses a tank that has a lot of stamina and very dangerous damage and adds abilities that support his bonuses, such as slowing and Time Mage's Rust, which cancels out the enemy summoner a bit. This is just one of the possible combinations that this summoner has.

Conclusions.

You have to be honest about this, this summoner, Lux Vega is not a card for all players due to its high price ranking around the 1k$, but having it on your team is a plus in absolutely every possible way, so if you can add it to your deck and you have not done it yet, I recommend you to do a little analysis yourself to make a decision, but do not let it pass without giving it a test first.

Thank you very much for reading my post, see you in the next one!

It is a super powerful card in the higher league.
I can't say if it is worth playing this card in the Bronze.
