-daily focus chest opening
-new water summoner/water monsters
-my updated earth deck
-how i am losing

I am trying to invest as much DEC as I can into Splinterlands right now. Does it look like it is paying off?

Buying several Level 10 Venari Heatsmiths will surely "heat up" your Collection Power with the least DEC or CREDITS cost, but will provide very little benefit for winning Battles. 🤓😅

I think I used an upgraded Venari Heatsmith on a #Splinterlands Ranked Battle with the Rules Little League and Target Practice to protect my Fire Splinter team from the opponent's Monsters with Ranged or Magic attack. 🤔🤓 !LOL !CTP

Do you mean that Venari Heatsmith has some use in Battles? 🤔 I consider its primary function only to heat up your Collection Power outside of Battles but still within #Splinterlands. 😅

If Venari Heatsmith required only 2 Mana, then I would have used it much more often when I need to use the Fire Splinter. 🤓 However, with 3 Mana as its requirement, I would have used a more powerful upgraded Monster with Magic or Ranged Attack as my team's damage absorber from opponent Monsters with Snipe Ability. 😏

What heal options are there for the FIRE splinter?

The Cerberus Card is a great Monster Card, such that at Level 1, it can already deal 2 damage, has 5 Health and 3 Speed, and can always heal itself for 2 Health per round (even higher Health restoration with the Equalizer Battle Rule). 🤓 Its low 4 Mana requirement allows it to be used on Battles with low Mana Cap and/or the Little League Rule. 😏

Note that the Cerberus Card is the most expensive Rare Monster Card on the #Splinterlands Market at about $6 for its Beta edition (and about $11 for its Alpha edition). 💸😅

Whats your thoughts about Elven Defender? I see his usefulness has been reduced with the new Riftwatchers set. Are there any other usecases for him?

I have not yet used the Elven Defender Monster Card that is at least Level 5 (which grants it the Shield Ability), so I can't accurately tell its usefulness before and after the release of the Riftwatchers Cards. 🤯😅

It's a good idea to invest in Neutral (Mercenary) Cards, because you can use them with any Summoner (especially with the powerful Dragon Summoners). 🤓

Anyway, have you seen the Legendary Neutral Summoner Lux Vega? 🤔 It can be used with any Splinter, and gives the team an additional 1 Point to Speed, Armor, and Life. 🤓 It's just too expensive at $714 for a Level 1 Card. 💸😱💸😅

Renting a Level 1 Lux Vega will cost more than 300 DEC per day, but at least you would experience using that Summoner Card for 48 hours at more than 600 DEC per day. 💸😅 You may then publish a #Splinterlands post about your experience using that Card. 😏

The price of renting the Legendary Water Summoner Possibilus the Wise is very likely to increase soon, and you might find renting another (Legendary) Summoner more worth it instead. 🤓

Anyway, I recommend pairing that Summoner with Monsters that increase Melee Attack, such as the Rare Water Monster Demented Shark or the Legendary Water Monster River Hellondale. 😏 !LOL

The Common Water Monster Demented Shark is relatively cheap right now at only about $0.37 per Card. 🤓 It used to be abundant as a Reward Card while the UNTAMED Card Packs were still being sold on the #Splinterlands Shop. 😏 !PIZZA !LOLZ

I saw that you bought only a Level 1 Demented Shark. 😅 Using a Level 3 one has an increased 1 Attack and 1 Speed, so I suggest that you buy up to Level 3 while it is still about $0.20 per Card. 🤓 !PIZZA !LOLZ

The Legendary Water Monster River Hellondale at Level 2 will also increase your Monsters' Melee Attack by 1 and also Resurrect any fallen friendly Monster once. 🤓 Demented Shark and River Hellondale together will increase your Monsters' Melee Attack by 2. 😎

That Level 2 Card will cost a total of about $16 on the #Splinterlands Market. 😏 !PIZZA !LOL

Just remember that the weakness of River Hellondale is its low Health (and Armor), so try to protect it with a Monster with the Taunt Ability (such as the Legendary The Kraken or the Epic Wave Brood). 🤓

The Rental price of the The Kraken right now went down to about 2.95 DEC per day. 😅 Maybe it's just because the current #Splinterlands Season is at its early days, then it would increase significantly near the end of the Season. 🤓 I also noticed the lower Rental prices of upgraded Summoners and Legendary Monsters. 😏 !PIZZA !LOL

Renting cheap #Splinterlands Cards for up to 15 days might cause many of the Rentals to be cancelled before the end of the rental period, since the owners of those Cards will likely increase their Rental prices when the season is about to end. 🤓 !PIZZA !LOLZ

Apart from giving a boost to the Melee attack of your Monsters, River Hellondale has 2 Magic attack which helps bypass the target Monster's Shield Ability. 🤓 Pair it with a Melee Monster with the Void Armor Ability (where the Monster's Armor can absorb Magic damage) such as the Legendary Neutral Monster Legionnaire Alvar (which costs about $4 on the #Splinterlands market) and you have a Tank that is very difficult to bring down. 😏 !PIZZA
