Some times in life we are put through such situations where it's difficult to decide which path to walk on. You have been an amazing daughter and I am sure your Mother in heaven must be showering her blessings to you all the time. Yes, when a family member is ill, it takes away a lot of our energy taking care of them and that can really drain us out. We cannot even leave them unattended.
Your sacrifice led you to new openings in life, and I am glad you are doing what you enjoy. Truly, life is short, make the most of it.
