Nata's Adventures in Splinterlands: Brawl Report 21.04.22

Hello friends, my Splinterlands journey continues and this week I took part in Guild Brawl again with Pizza 2 The Deep Dish and just like in last round I won 5 battles out of 7 with 15 points and got 831 Merits as a reward.

I would be happy to share my winning strategies.

In the first battle I used Kelya Frendulsummoner and counted on the powerful attack of Sea Monster, Flying Squid, Sand Worm, and Isgald Vorst Gladiator, but since my opponent used Mylor Crowling, which returns damage from melee monsters, my weapon of victory was Captain's Ghost.

In the second battle I could only use ranged monsters, so I tried a combo of Kelya Frendul, the powerful Djinn Oshannus, and Edith Emberstar Gladiator, which I protected with Kelp Initiate.

While my opponent was dealing with my "wall," my gladiator swung power with Bloodlust and took out my opponent's cards one by one. It's a miracle!

For the third battle, I didn't need gladiators, so I used the tried-and-true combination of Haunted Spirit in first position and Shadow Snitch in second position for short-range attacks, and a fast Fallen Spectre for long-range attacks.

It wasn't easy to beat Cursed Windeku, but it was great.

I've been looking for a reason to use Kortiphus Bayne gladiator for a long time, and this round I used him along with Thaddius Brood summoner. I used Phantom Soldier and Djinn Muirat for ranged attacks, put Grim Reaper to keep my opponent from healing his tank, and spent the remaining mana on Silent Sha-Vi.

My opponent took advantage of Marisol Contuma's cool gladiator and put up a nice selection of mages, but my Djinn and archer proved to be very resilient fighters :)

Lately I really like playing with the Tarsa summoner, so in the last battle I put it in combination with powerful melee monsters Molten Ogre, Phineas Rage and Sand Worm, which I strengthened with Lava Launcher archers and the very rarely used gladiator Sarius.

The opponent came out against me with a good selection of Earth element cards, featuring a large number of life points, but this did not help him and even after losing the first two cards, the rest coped at their best.

Such are the battles.

The MERITs received for participation were enough to buy a new Gladius Case, in which there were no epic or legendary cards, but there were very useful Chimney Wallstop and Isgald Vorst.

I was glad to share my experience ;)
