The focus this Season really shifted towards Land 1.5 for me as I spent hours working with spreadsheets to prepare my Collection for the release which we hope is soon. I battled early in the Season to get a good spot but the impact of bots and BH going away has definitely seen a challenging experience in the top of Champion Division I for the leaderboards. It will be interesting how it all plays out but having Land to look forward is exciting.

Happy where I landed although it was not easy. I opted not to play the last couple of days in Modern as the losses were too punishing. I was also becoming more impatient with the wait times for Modern ranked. The wait also meant that I was always matching with lower ranked players which did not end well from a risk/reward perspective on rating points. In the end, happy to be on both Leaderboards another season as I need the DEC for land.

Tournaments were not bad this Season as they almost always end at least at breakeven which is good for my SPS wallet. However, now that I am at my SPS goal and given the new focus on land, I may take a break from Tournaments for a bit.

More Soulbound cards are getting maxed out which is great for playing but I am now looking at them for land. I have a challenge given my account structure for land but I hope the development team has thought about those of us that delegate cards.

The changes in the ecosystem have been a net benefit to me for SPS earned in battles so that is great. Now jackpots this Season but a good amount earned to keep building the bag.
The Season was a bit underwhelming but given the focus on land, I can understand how it is impacting my thinking. So many shifts occurring around the ecosystem so it is important to remain close to the community for the future. I continue to feel encouraged despite the pockets of insatisfaction and drama in addition to the long wait for things…
