I was hoping that at least the end of Season would give me some excitement to offset the continued frustration from manually playing Modern league but I was disappointed yet again. After battling so much to have a shot at Champion Division I on the last day, I could not extend a small streak I had and fell well short of the goal. The worst part is that I was even in Wins to Losses but my rating would go down because of the opponents. I quit early as I had gotten enough chests for my end of Season but then came the worst; I still have not gotten the single BCX I need to complete my Soulbound reward set!

My performance was not bad this Season but my luck was as I could not hold on to any streaks. Losing is so painful as my ranked points get hit but even the opportunity costs grows as well. I hope changes come soon or I will find myself surfing Praetoria as soon as I get my last Soulbound card.

I love the ecosystem and the game but I am getting frustrated more often these days. I may have to take a break to really want to do this every day. I am focusing on land to avoid the experience of frustration but I hope something changes soon despite the continued echo of not enough resources from the team. We need a pivotal moment for sustainability.

Have you been adding the important Rebellion cards to your Modern collection? From my experience these last few months, playing Modern Champion League has been tons of fun! So many new strategies to try out! Of course, it helped that I just enjoyed my best-ever finish on the leaderboard for Modern and Wild Champion League.
In fact, over the last three weekends, I've found myself buying extra energy just because I have been having so much fun playing Modern Ranked that I want more battles.
And as for land, it continues to bore me completely. All I want is for the team to finally provide those prefix titles and the rShare bonuses that they confer. This was really my only interest to get into land in the first place, and the land dev team keeps dragging their feet on these bonuses. I'll bet I would have made better gains just selling all my land assets and staking that SPS, but Splinterlands isn't all about the gains, is it? Some people truly enjoy the strategy of competition!
It seems like we are having two vastly different experiences with the same game. Either way though, these new changes to ranked play at the end of the season should help you to find better opponents without the huge loses in rating that people have been complaining about for over a year.
