After months of grinding and battling through the Seasons of Splinterlands, I have finally gotten back to Champion League Division I! I think it was more luck than skill as I got on a streak with a little less than 2 days left in the Season. As soon as I got past 4,300 I stopped playing despite being in the Top 50 with hours left to go. I did not even try to stay in the Top 50 as I knew the likelihood of falling out was high. Ironically, this created an optimization issue as I had plenty of energy left before Season end as I have not been playing as much. I turn to Wild and the automation tools to ensure I did not lose the energy; surprisingly, I also got into the top Division with only another day of playing!

It was a rough Season despite the good end results. I was hardly able to gather any good streaks and often found myself struggling to even stay in Champion League for the first half of the Season. Wild helped me quite a bit as the bot performed well there to keep me earning Champion chests.

I prefer not to be reminded that I still lack one single BCX of a legendary card to have a maximized deck of Soubound reward cards. However, given the latest news of the potential ability to burn these extra cards I keep earning for future reward points to use elsewhere is exciting.

SPS continues to accumulate and given where the market seems to be headed, I have started to actively think about keeping some liquid. However, the incoming potential dynamics of Soulkeep, Arcade Colony AirDrop, and Land 2.0 have me still wanting for more SPS.
It feels like the changes in the ecosystem continue to evolve our experience which is critical for engagement to be sustainable. I think it has helped me continue the effort as I was almost convinced of moving completely over to land soon. However, the early experiences and results of this last Season have encouraged me for what is to come. Only time will tell!
