Another Season is done with this one marking the end to another calendar year! It was an interesting one as it seems like competition is pretty tight as more players seem to be playing. I think the amount of new things that the team continues to add to the game which mostly requires glint is surely increasing the demand and leading to more engagement and gameplay. I hope that this will lead to more players coming in and enjoying the level of content being shared.

As mentioned, the competition is clearly heating up. I was surprised to find myself above the Top 100 this Season as it seems the bot could not keep up unless something else was going on. This is unfortunate for me as I continue to deploy plenty of Glint as I seek to complete my Reward card set slowly every Season. I am getting closer but as previous experiences, it will definitely end about being about the luck needed to complete the cards needed.

Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.
Rewards remain the key side of why we look to battle and earn our Glint so it is key that Glint continues to flow into my account. Now that Glint will also be needed for our exemplar cards, even more demand will likely be seen. I am still waiting on using my Glint for that piece as I focus on the reward cards first. I think it will still be a couple of months to complete the set with some luck.

My Land seemingly did a rebound this Season as my SPS did pretty well. This is good timing as the new mini set is coming soon and SPS will likely be the main source of funding for it. Since I am now above my target balance, I am guessing that I will go for some despite my reluctance to do so.
As I looked into the start of a new year, I continue to look at the potential of the Splinterlands ecosystem. While it is no longer my main focus, I have not given up on it as the innovation and development have been great and I feel that they are gaining some traction that could make 2026 an interesting year. In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy the journey although still focused on the land side of things.
