Today, I will walk you through one of my battles in Splinterlands. For this battle, I utilized my usual set of cards, but I also incorporated a new addition: a Rare card from the Water Splinter known as the Merdaali Guardian. While this card may appear quite simple in appearance, it is, in fact, an incredibly powerful asset. I chose to include this card specifically to provide support to my lead unit; it was essential to acquire it, as it serves to bolster the card positioned at the very front of my lineup. This card boosts the Health of the unit occupying the first position, thereby ensuring that your team's primary tank can effectively withstand the battle. This allows the cards positioned behind it to accurately target the opposing team and ultimately secure victory for your side. In Splinterlands, victory in battle is attainable only when you have formulated a sound strategy; if your strategy is flawed, you will be unable to win the match.

As you can see in my battle, my first card is named—Robo-Dragon Knight. This is an extremely powerful card; if you position it in the first slot, it performs exceptionally well. It serves to protect your team effectively, thanks to its built-in shield and substantial health. Furthermore, being a melee attacker, it is perfectly equipped to safeguard its teammates. The specific card I selected to accompany it offers a distinct advantage: the Merdaali Guardian boosts the health of the Robo-Dragon Knight—which occupies the first position—thereby allowing it to endure the battle for a longer duration. It absorbs the attacks from the opposing team, creating an opening for the rest of your team to launch their own offensive against the enemy, ultimately leading to our victory. Moreover, leveling up this card unlocks several additional benefits. By approaching the battle in this manner, you foster effective teamwork, making it significantly easier to secure a win.

Let me tell you a bit about this card. I currently possess this card at Level 5. It has a Mana cost of 3. This card features 4 Health and 3 Speed. It gains a Healing ability at Level 3; furthermore, if you upgrade it to Level 5, it acquires a Repair ability, which restores the armor of the most damaged unit on your team—specifically, the unit that has sustained armor damage. In other words, if you have placed a monster in the first position of your team—one that possesses both armor and substantial health—then let me assure you that the Merdaali Guardian is an excellent card to use. This card performs a dual function: it not only boosts the health of the card positioned in the first slot but also restores its armor. Consequently, this significantly increases your chances of winning the battle. Therefore, I can highly recommend this card, as it performs exceptionally well at Level 5. This card operates most effectively as part of a combined team strategy, offering the greatest benefit to the card positioned in the first slot. It works particularly well within Water-element teams, as Magic Splinters tend to perform most effectively when positioned toward the rear of the formation. I hope you enjoyed this post!
