Shadowy Presence – Takes the Hit, Lets Your Team Strike !!
Hello
Splinterlands Lovers !

Today, I would like to introduce you to a Splinterlands card that serves to protect the other cards in my team. This card is named—Shadowy Presence. It costs just 1 Mana. I chose to include this card in my battle lineup because this low-cost, 1-Mana card has proven to be an absolute godsend. To give you some context, all the other cards I selected for this battle rely on Magic attacks; however, I specifically chose Shadowy Presence to ensure that opposing enemy cards would not target them. In this post, I will provide you with comprehensive details regarding this card. Although it costs only 1 Mana, it possesses the power to turn the tide and secure victory in your battles. This card itself does not possess any attack power. It is an Epic card belonging to the Death Unit. Currently, I hold this card at Level 1.

I have provided a battle link here where you can observe how effectively my card—named "Shadowy Presence"—performed during the match. This is a 1-Mana card featuring 5 Health and 1 Speed. You can strategically place this card in either the first or the last position, as its primary function is to draw incoming damage toward itself, thereby allowing your other cards the opportunity to attack during the battle. It is particularly advantageous to utilize this card during low-Mana battles. A key highlight is that, being a mere 1-Mana card, it incurs a minimal cost, enabling you to launch a robust offensive against the opposing team—much like I have demonstrated in this specific battle. This card is an excellent choice for Magic-focused lineups, and it proves especially effective in low-Mana matches—specifically those with a cap of 6 Mana or less.

Speaking further about this card, it performs exceptionally well when leveled up; for instance, at Level 3, it increases the maximum Health of all your units by 1. At Level 5, it boosts Melee Attack Power by +1. Therefore, even though this card may lack inherent attack power, it functions effectively as a Legendary card. You should position this card in the first slot, as it is incredibly powerful; by absorbing incoming damage itself, it creates an opportunity for the rest of your team to launch an attack—thereby enabling the remainder of your squad to eliminate the opposing team.
