It's often hard to see the future of a project unless you are right in the middle of it.
The game spend years slowly building until the playtoearn movement exploded this year.
It's a pity that you missed the first wave but its still so early that the chaos sale will be a great chance to be part of the next one.

I missed by choice at the end of the day - I had plenty of opportunity, including free entry, promo packs and the like :D Let's see where it is in 5 years. Will I be rich, or destitute?
You wont be destitute anyway. If splinterlands goes 100x, then it will have a huge effect on the whole eco-system.
Success by proxy.
This is what people need to think about more too - Hive is an ecosystem of platforms, all interrelated and working together to add value, even if not directly.
It's the combined effect of everything built here that will bring success. Every app that grows or joins will bring more with them.
It's great to see the system compound in real time.
