Maxing out my chaos deck for splinterlands: Part 4.

How many cards are in the chaos legion?

As we move forward in splinterlands it looks like it is going to be very important to have a well rounded chaos deck as the season splits into two leagues.

There are no definite sums here but looking at a rough guide to see what would be involved.

  • Common 29 cards, roughly $40 each = $1160
  • Rare 28
    • Monsters 23 cards, roughly $35 each, = $805
    • Summoners 5 cards, roughly $402 each = $2012
  • Epic 17 cards, roughly $90 each = $1530
  • Legendary 22 cards, roughly $91 = $2150
    • Doctor Blight, $1200

That's looking like $7,534 for a full set not including Doctor Blight which would bring it up to $8,734 in a rough estimate.

I started monitoring this just over one month ago and have made a lot of progress in just a short period of time from my splinterlands income and nothing else.

You can read back further into my progress if you are interested.

  • Common (4) 29
  • Rare (20) 28
    • Monsters (19) 23
    • Summoners (1) 5
  • Epic (7) 17
  • Legendary (13) 22
  • Doctor Blight (0) 1

At the time of my first post I had a total of 13 out of the 125 possible cards.

The last time i have managed to build up as far 38 as out of the total 125.

This time I am up to a total of 44 cards maxed out of 125 with a few more leveled up and almost over the line.

That's another six cards maxed out in the past two weeks. The number is much smaller than my last few posts but the cards are more expensive down this side of the market.

I'm using the strategy of maxing out the cheapest option every time that I don't already have. The prices change constantly so it is just a matter of working my way up the list.

The next steps.

The next steps are very simple.

  • Increase my battles.
  • Increase my rental income.
  • Sell off reward cards.
  • Buy up more chaos legion cards.

It all about maximizing my returns and buying the cards that i still need for the lowest prices possible.

It's hard to know which way the markets are going to go over the next few months but as a person committed to the long term value of my deck and the game in general I want to keep growing every single day.

Weak hands are being shaken out while the rest of us can pick up the cheap cards and get ready for the future. That is where i want to be once the game steps up to the next level.

Try for yourself.

If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.

Cards worth a few cents now will have a much higher value in the future as the print runs out. We have a strong community and seen this happen every time as it grows with the game.

You are making fairly good progress and I see that you have already maxed out a decent amount of legendary cards already. Are you leaving the common cards to be last? Or are you just picking what you see maxed out on the market to buy first?

It's slowing down a bit now since ive bought up the cheaper options form the market.

I started with legendary as they are cheaper to max out at 11 cards total. Common have 400 and even the cheap ones get expensive if you try to buy them all together.

The prices get pushed up.

Working on it anyway.
All rentals are going back into building the deck for the next few months.
It's easy to keep picking up the cards with free money and rent these out for a bit more as well.

I have level 2 on some of my cards. As the summoners you can use let you use it on common. I think even at rare you need to buy some summoners. So I might buy some. I just want to buy a few summoners to level up. But I still really don't know which to buy. I rather buy one at level 2 as they are rather cheaper than buying individual. My budget is about $30. Now I get 3 rewards for my dq !

All my rewards on Hive are going into the Chaos deck. Beta cards are coming down so I am picking up a couple of these and a few golds but getting there.

I think that it's a good time to do it. We are in a lull at the moment but it won't take much for the game to kick off again.

Land, chaos packs selling out, validator nodes ect...

It's still the top blockchain game out there and has solid numbers. 2x the active players and it will get moving again very fast.

Then people will regret not buying up more cards.

I only maxed out several reward cards because they're quite cheap.
I have an additional 5% CP of maxed out card which helps me to get more airdrop points and rent out higher price.

Do you max out the GF as well or just max out the RF?

The reward cards are dirt cheap right now.
I just keep stacking them up for the future.
Once they go out of print the prices will go up a lot more.

I don't have many gold cards maxed out, mainly just regular ones.
