RE: Splinterlands Rentals and Passive Income

It is by no means massive

Lol! I doubt there are many who has more cards than you!

Renting is absolutely unbelievable now but I cant even imagine renting so many cards, it would surely take a lot of your time.

Amor, There are 106 people with more cards than me and I can check as single accounts. There are many that I can't check. There are hidden accounts, people with 100s of split accounts. Trust me, there are quite a lot of people with more cards than me. But I am certainly a large holder, and also I am transparent.

I need to hire someone to manage the renting, but it is hard to find such a person who understands the game, have free time in hand, and can be trusted :)

Hundreds of people! Damn looks like SL did really good grabbing whales! And yes, your transparency can be quite inspiring for many people.
I'm sure you can find trustworthy people in BDC but whether they understand the game or have time is the question.

These stats are amazing. I had no idea Splinterlands was so huge. Do you really need to hire someone to manage your card rentals, though? It seems like if you could just tap into the dataflow and combine it with an analysis tool like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or some equivalent you would have continuous reporting at your finger tips. Heck, you might just be able to get by with Excel or Google Sheets.

So, you started with nothing in 2018 and you now have this performance? That's impressive.

This is USD by the way. Enough said :)

Also today is the end of the season

This is my rental earning today in addition...

45,000 DEC today.

Current price of 45000 DEC is 851.83695 SWAP.HIVE ($497.871438).

Also I get nearly 8000 SPS on average on airdrop, which is valued at nearly $1 per SPS.

Are you with the right project? :) LOL

I am being completely transparent to you and not making anything up as I have nothing to hide.

EDIT:

New high on rentals today!

Good god. Well, that answers my questions. It looks like an opportunity for expansion has presented itself. Thanks, man. I appreciate the response.

You are welcome! :)

Against popular wisdom and word on the street, I am not an evil person. We are changing people's lives. My personal goal is to make people financially free. I don't need any money, I am already financially free. I have created freedom for at least 10 people here on hive. That helps me sleep very well at night :)

Cheers!

Azircon, I know you're not a bad person. I knew it when I read your article on Schindler's list and your warnings about staring into the abyss. Some behaviors were odd earlier this year and that's in the past.

The stigma of your work on Hive is identical to what I see in regulatory space with power production. No one wants to do it, but it needs to get done. Just like IRL, there are insufficient resources to do what needs to get done which will never cease to amaze me. It creates the unfortunate friction between the regulators and the community. It's not something easily resolved.

I hear ya on financial freedom. I'm definitely looking into SPS now.

It was a beautiful piece. It brought things into perspective when I pieced together some of your earlier writings. It's impossible to forget those things that change your outlook. Well, for me anyway.

And it made me recall the times I served on a submarine. Staring into the abyss was akin to staring within yourself void of outside influences. You get to see who you are without your connections to society. The abyss would gift you with insanity until you moved away from it. Regarding the abyss, I felt that it would be your reflection staring back into you.

So yeah, it was a great article.
