How to win Every Time with Earthquake Rule Set

Earthquakes are usually caused when underground rock suddenly breaks and there is rapid motion along a fault. This sudden release of energy causes the seismic waves that make the ground shake. Earthquake is a really dangerous phenomenon which sometimes kill living beings except for those above in the sky.

LORE

Brighton was an eccentric young man of Shimmer City, the capital of Khymeria. He was always seen as a strange character among the Khymian summoners. In the best times, his peers thought he was simply a distraction from their important studies. In the worst times, his fellow summoners doubted and belittled Brighton’s abilities. They were also put off by the way birds always landed on his hands and shoulders. After just two years studying at the Shimmer summoning school, Brighton decided to leave Khymeria. His loyalty was available to the highest bidder, and that is where the Dragons came in.
The Gloridax cared not for Brighton’s strange idiosyncrasies; what mattered to them was his skills as a summoner. Furthermore, in Gloridax eyes oneness with birds has long been considered a sign of divinity. Brighton’s attraction to birds was quickly noticed by Suam Khepri, Empress of the United Gloridax, who assigned a team of aerial sorcerers to properly train the young man. When Brighton emerged from that training, he could grant the power of flight to any monster under his summoning control.

ABILITIES

Flying.png || Has a 25% increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.

Flying negates Earthquake damage in addition to adding 25% dodge chance to the monster. This allows Brighton Bloom to have huge advantage when Earthquake Rule sets are up. It negates the damage to all of your monsters which is a huge factor especially since it inflicts 2 damage per turn.

Rent/Buy Cost

This is the rental cost of Brighton Bloom at the time of writing this article.
Bloom Rent.jpg

Brighton Bloom went up from being 0.10 DEC rental a few months back. This shows that the supply moved a lot and a lot more people discovers how useful Brighton Bloom is. Brighton is one of the summoners that you should ALWAYS rent and have it in your back pocket in case an Earthquake Rule Set comes up.

This is the purchasing cost of Brighton Bloom at the time of writing this article.

Bloom Buy.jpg

Brighton Bloom's cost is manageable. He's quite cheap for being a useful summoner. As I said, Brighton is one of those summoners that you should always have. If you have extra budget, maybe care to buy instead of renting as the price might slowly pick up as more players discover the useful effect of Flying.

Advantageous Rules:

Earthquake Rule Set.PNG

This is the rule set Brighton Bloom excels. The Flying ability negates all earthquake damage and incresed evasion against melee and ranged given that those monsters don't have any Flying ability as well. This is a specialized rule set that you should be running Brighton Bloom almost all of the time.

Disadvantageous Rules:

No Miss.PNG

Not really a disadvantage but this counters Brighton Bloom's evasion stats. The 25% dodge chance that monsters get from the Flying ability is negated by this rule set. If you're against Brighton user, you might want to employ archers and ranged users whenever this rule set comes up to abuse the fact that they don't miss.
No Summoner.PNG

Really self explanatory. If the summoner is silenced, it provides no ability boost. Therefore, it's best to pick a 2 or 3 mana summoner instead so you can play more or stronger monsters in the battle.
You can see the rule sets here.

Compatibility

Brighton Bloom is a dragon summoner meaning he's the same as neutral monsters. They don't have a specific element requirement and you can use any element once you use a dragon summoner.

Positioning

In this battle, we have an Earthquake and close range rule set. Being an earthquake rule set, this gives me extreme advantage as I can play ANY monsters and they won't take damage from the rule set.
I used earth element with Unicorn Mustang as the front, supported by Venari Spellsmith, Wood Nymph and Goblin Psychic.

Round 1:

Round 1 is pretty docile. Both my opponents just exchanged damage and that's it. No one died this round.

Round 2:

By end of Round 2, things started to pick up. Xenith Monk and Mycelic Slipspawn dies from both my creature's damage and the earthquake. Also, Furious chicken got crushed by the earthquake damage.

Round 3:

By end of round 3, Unicorn Mustang still hasn't taken any damage due to my double tank heal. Regal Peryton dies from everything and with my opponent dealing minimal damage, I should be winning by next few rounds.

Round 4:

Game ended in round 4 when my opponent's Tower Griffin fell from battle.

Final Remarks

Brighton Bloom is a really useful summoner. He's more like a specialized summoner that provides huge advantage when there's an Earthquake Rule Set. I'm amazed not a lot of people actually use this on lower league but I would assume that when there's earthquake rule set, it's automatically played on the higher league as the advantage it gives you lasts for multiple turns..
