I'm finally Gold!

Just before the reset of the season, I finally reached Gold with my Veigar, Senna, Kindred Deck. The deck feels a bit clunky but when stars align, they can control you and wipe your board until the end of never.

The most notable cards are the Go Hard

Which changes to Pack Your Bags after using the 3rd time

Senna who changes all Slow spells to fast meaning you can cast Go Hard or Pack Your Bags during battle

Kindred is the other who just got buffed recently but has an amazing skill whenever you kill an enemy due to battle, skill or spell.

And Veigar who is the main star increasing Darkness damage per turn and having the ability to use Darkness on Nexus.

I did a change for Minimorph

and removed it all in exchange to Vengeance

The reason for that is because the deck is full of slow monsters and the 3/3 from Minimorph is still too strong to be dealt off by the monsters in the deck. Changing it to Vengeance, instead directly killing the monster activating Kindred's ability to kill the weakest monster upon doing so.

The deck is really fun and has a lot of good interaction and chemistry between each cards. The only weakness is that since the card deals with the monsters directly, swarm decks or those who summon a lot for low mana like Elise Spiders, beatdown decks who has bunch of strong monsters like Yeti or Fated Decks, or both, Mono Shurima, the deck struggles a lot on them.

The swarm depends on whether I get Senna or Kindred early for higher control while against beatdowns, depending if Veigar can make darkness big enough before the stuff gets too big for darkness control. The Mono Shurima is the overpowered one having able to do both in which the whole darkness deck requires to have a good set up before I get overrun.

All in all, I'm happy getting that Gold rank before season ends. Right now, I'm zoning around Gold 2-3 and checking out other possible decks to use. If there's a lot of Mono Shurima that day, then I need to have a reserve deck to use for the meantime or else I'll just grind again tomorrow. Legends of Runeterra is a lot of fun and the interaction between cards are interesting. I hope I can get to Platinum League next season.
