Hi everyone! For this weeks challenge, I wanted to share my battle with the Aim True ruleset, my battle also contained 2 other rulesets:

  • Taking Sides: No neutral monsters are allowed
  • Brair Patch: All monsters have the Thorns ability (basically saying, don't use melee, unless it's shielded or has reflection shield)

The mana cap was 41 mana and the availabe splinters: (they call them elements now I know with it's still SPLINTERlands right!?)
  • Water
  • Earth
  • Death
  • Dragon
Without fire and life, I was pretty sure I was going to face a Magic team, my general playing style is counter my enemy all day long.

My Lineup:

  • Kelya Frendul (it's lvl 4 and I only have a lvl 1 bortus)
  • Baakjira (Void - I was expecting magic)
  • Tide Biter (Reflection shield to negate the thorns and stil do some melee damage against possible enemy void)
  • Djinn O'Shannus (again... void)
  • Nerissa Tridawn (just for some heavy magic damage and nice Health Points)
  • Merdaali Guardian (to heal my voids)
  • Axe Master (to take out enemy voids, I just LOVE Axe Master)

Enemy Lineup:

  • Obsidian (I was right!!)
  • Pelacor Mercenary (No void tho... hmmm.. his loss)
  • Goblin Psychic
  • Regal Peryton
  • Mycellic Slipspawn
  • Queen Mycellia
  • Djinn Biljka

By succesfully predicting what your opponent is going to play, you're already 1 step ahead so it was a good start. The enemy Goblin Psychic put affliction on Baakjira so it couldn't be healed anymore, so that was annoying, but still, the thorns and my damage quickly killed the enemy tank and from there it was a pretty easy win!
