Hello hivers, welcome back to one of my digital art posts, I had already 5 days without doing absolutely nothing, I would say that my little body is asking for rest, but I couldn't let pass one of my favorite post of the week where I show you my entry to the splinterlands art contest, so I took courage and strength from where there was none and I made a beautiful portrait.

This time I'm taking inspiration from a water element card called Ice Pixie. It's a little fairy/goblin and I found it very cute, that's why I wanted to illustrate it. Below I share with you the process

Hola hivers, bienvenidos de nuevo a uno de mis post de arte digital, ya tenía 5 días sin hacer absolutamente nada, diría que mi cuerpecito me pide descanso, pero no podía dejar pasar uno de mis post favoritos de la semana donde les muestro mi entrada al concurso de arte de splinterlands, así que saqué ánimos y fuerzas de donde no las había e hice un hermoso retrato.

Esta vez me he inspirado en una carta del elemento agua llamada Ice Pixie. Es una pequeña hada/duende y me pareció muy linda, por eso quise ilustrarla. A continuación comparto con ustedes el proceso.

I searched on Pinterest for a model to use as a reference, and then I started to make the sketch and to place the base colors. As always I started to make some shadows of the face and to elaborate the whole structure of it.

I had some time without working with line art, but this time I wanted to put that precious black outline that I used to do before and without a doubt I loved it hehe.

Busqué en Pinterest una modelo que me sirviera de referencia y luego empecé a hacer el boceto y a colocar los colores base. Como siempre empecé a hacer unas sombras del rostro y a elaborar toda la estructura del mismo.

Tenía un tiempo sin trabajar con line art, pero esta vez quise poner ese precioso contorno negro que solía hacer antes y sin duda me encantó jeje.

Then I made the clothes and the hair, this last one gave me work, unfortunately I didn't save the process, but at the beginning I had started working with a pastel yellow and violet, I didn't like this, so I changed the tone and saturation to not make the hair from scratch, arriving to this result.

Next I did the wings, I did them with the watercolor brush with an opacity of 60%, I duplicated the layer and put a gaussian blur filter. Then I changed the tone of the fairy's skin doing the same as I did with the hair

Luego hice la ropa y el cabello, esto último me dio trabajo, lamentablemente no guardé el proceso, pero al principio había comenzado a trabajar con un amarillo y violeta pastel, esto no me gustó, así que cambié el tono y la saturación para no hacer el cabello desde cero, llegando a este resultado.

A continuación hice las alas, las realicé con el pincel de acuarela con una opacidad del 60%, dupliqué la capa y puse un filtro de desenfoque gaussiano. Luego cambié el tono de la piel del hada haciendo lo mismo que hice con el cabello

Then I added darkness and lighting, the original Ice Pixie has like a little power coming out of her little hands, and I wanted to do that effect in the same way. I did this with the soft airbrush and the spray airbrush blurred.

To finish I put some crystals in the shape of a tiara, and for the background I used the color wine since I had used cold colors and I felt that this one was good for her.

Luego añadí oscuridad e iluminación, el Duendecillo de Hielo original tiene como un pequeño poder que sale de sus manitas, y quise hacer ese efecto de la misma manera. Lo hice con el aerógrafo suave y con el aerógrafo de pulverización difuminado.

Para terminar le puse unos cristales en forma de diadema, y para el fondo utilicé el color vino ya que había utilizado colores fríos y me pareció que este le iba bien.
