Hello hivers! Welcome back to one of my entries for the splinterlands contest.

This time I chose a water unit called Vera Salacia, I found it very nice and with a very interesting lore, for this week I just wanted to make a portrait, but that at the same time had some complexity, I leave you the process below.

¡Hola hivers! Bienvenidos de nuevo a una de mis participaciones para el concurso de splinterlands.

Esta vez elegí una unidad de agua llamada Vera Salacia, me pareció muy bonita y con un lore muy interesante, para esta semana solo quería hacer un retrato, pero que a la vez tuviera cierta complejidad, les dejo el proceso a continuación.

I started as always painting the face. As I said the portrait itself was not so complex, I would say that what took me more work was to make his back and sometimes I had some conflicts with the arm and the jewel that is in it, the rest was the same process as usual.

Inicié como siempre pintando el rostro. Como he dicho el retrato en sí no fue tan complejo, diría que lo que me llevó más trabajo fue hacerle la espalda y a veces tuve algunos conflictos con el brazo y la joya que hay en él, el resto fue el mismo proceso de siempre.

The complicated part of this portrait would be the water, I wanted to make it with some transparencies and try to get a more realistic result in it.

La parte complicada de este retrato sería el agua, quería hacerla con algunas transparencias e intentar conseguir un resultado más realista en ella.

First I started making the bubbles, varying small strokes and different colors in layers of overlay, multiple and add glitter. Then I painted some fish on each of the bubbles, I loved doing this.

Primero empecé a hacer las burbujas, variando pequeños trazos y diferentes colores en capas de superposición, múltiple y añadir brillo. Después pinté algunos peces en cada una de las burbujas, me encantó hacer esto.

Once I had this I did the same for the waves. I used different texture brushes for this and I also wanted to add some drops to the skin to show that the water splashes on the character. I hope you like it.

Una vez hecho esto, hice lo mismo con las olas. Para ello utilicé diferentes pinceles de textura y también quise añadir algunas gotas a la piel para mostrar que el agua salpica al personaje. Espero que les guste.
