Art Style Challenge | Chapter 0 | 🎨 Making my OC to start the challenge 🎨

I decided to do the "Art Style Challenge" after a long time, it was a challenge that I saw many artists doing, including my favorites, but I never had the courage to do it. This challenge consists of making a drawing, it can be of some original character or any other drawing, in different art styles. These drawing styles can be taken from animated series, anime, different artists' own styles or others, the goal is to recreate different art styles and see how different your art looks in those styles.

Decidí hacer el "Art Style Challange" después de bastante tiempo, era un reto que veía hacer a muchos artistas, incluidos mis preferidos, pero nunca tuve el atrevimiento para hacerlo. Este reto consiste en hacer un dibujo, puede ser de algún personaje original o cualquier otro dibujo, en diferentes estilos de arte. Estos estilos de dibujo pueden ser tomados de series animadas, animes, estilos propios de diferentes artistas o demás, lo que se busca es recrear diferentes estilos de arte y ver que tan diferente se ve tu arte en esos estilos.

To start the challenge, I'm going to distribute it by chapters, as an artistic series, so to speak, so as not to saturate so much with many drawings in a single publication. And to start the chapter 0, I began by making my OC, which is a character I created quite some time ago and the truth is, I had abandoned him, but what better way to bring him back to life again by making this incredible challenge.

Para darle comienzo al reto, lo voy a distribuir por capítulos, a base de serie artística, por decirlo de alguna manera, para así no saturar tanto con muchos dibujos en una sola publicaron. Y para darle inicio al capitulo 0, comencé haciendo mi OC, el cual es un personaje que cree hace ya bastante tiempo y que la verdad, lo tenia abandonado, pero que mejor manera de traerlo a la vida nuevamente haciendo este increíble desafió.

I started making the sketch of my character and how good it felt to make a drawing without looking for references or other things, since whenever I make a drawing or have the idea for one, I always sit down to look for references that can help me to build the idea, but as this is an original character, I already know everything that the character has or I know how everything is about him, so I don't need anything to do it.

Comencé haciendo el boceto de mi personaje y que bien se sintió hacer un dibujo sin buscar referencias o demás cosas, ya que siempre que hago un dibujo o tengo la idea para uno, me siento a buscar referencias que me puedan servir para armar la idea, pero como este es un personaje original, ya se todo lo que el personaje tiene o sé como es todo sobre él, así que no necesito nada para hacerlo.

After doing the sketch, I started to do the color work. I made use of watercolors, well; actually I wanted to do the whole challenge in traditional, since I wanted to revive the traditional in me again, since I have abandoned it a lot since I started drawing in digital, but yes, I worked the drawing with watercolors, doing all the color work little by little.

Luego de hacer el boceto, comencé a hacer el trabajo de color. Hice uso de acuarelas, bueno; en realidad quise hacer todo el reto en tradicional, ya que quise revivir el tradicional en mí nuevamente, ya que lo he abandonado mucho desde que comencé a dibujar en digital, pero sí, trabaje el dibujo con acuarelas, haciendo todo el trabajo de color poco a poco.

I was making details in each layer of paint, letting dry respectively everything I was doing, because watercolors take time to dry each layer of paint that we add to the drawing. Also I did not use any other art material, everything is watercolors and the truth is that I love the result I got with this drawing.

Fui haciendo detalles en cada capa de pintura, dejando secar respectivamente todo lo que iba haciendo, ya que las acuarelas se llevan su tiempo para secar cada capa de pintura que agregamos al dibujo. Ademas no hice uso de ningún otro material de arte, todo es acuarelas y la verdad que me encanto mucho el resultado que obtuve con este dibujo.

To finish the drawing, I made some final details, like adding some shadows and a couple of line arts in certain areas, to give a little more contrast to the drawing and that would be it, that would be all.

Para finalizar el dibujo, hice algunos detalles finales, como agregar algunas sombras y un par de line arts en ciertas zonas, para darle un poco más de contraste al dibujo y listo, eso seria todo.
