Among the wildflower glades of Sylvaras, Lavenendra spent her days braiding buttercups into her hair, chasing sunlight through the trees, and laughing prettily with the other fey and woodland creatures.
But now, Mahkah Hemlig is tearing the forests apart in search of some gosh-darned secret. So when Aranduriel set off for the Kingdom of Thanaloria to lend her dragon magic to the fellowship of the Silverleafs, Lavenendra followed.
In the wilds of Blackmoor Basin and the Western Lowlands, she still laughs prettily. She laughs as she slips unseen past the conclave’s defenses. She laughs when she spies their scouts fumbling to hide in the woods. It’s adorable.
And she laughs again, sweet as spring rain, as she drives her antlers through them, and her crown of buttercups runs red with blood and gore. Link

Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I would like to share my entry in the Splinterlands art contest. This time I chose the character “Buttercup Mauler” because I thought it was really cool, so this was my version:
Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Les comparto mi participacion al concurso de arte de Splinterlands. Esta vez escogí al personaje de "Buttercup Mauler", ya que se me hizo super bonito, así que esta fue mi versión:
I started by making a sketch, using a photo of a girl I found on Pinterest as a reference. I loved the way she was holding a bottle, and you know, you adapt the pose to the character you're creating, so that's what I did.
Comencé haciendo el boceto, tomando en cuenta o como referencia una foto de una chica que encontré en Pinterest y me encanto la forma en la que estaba sosteniendo una botella y ya saben, una adapta la pose al personaje que estas haciendo y eso fue lo que hice.

I added elements related to the original character, such as horns and flowers, and I also wanted to add wings to give the character a different touch and make it more than just a portrait.
Agregue cosas referentes al personaje original, como los cuernos, las flores y ademas de eso, quise agregarles alas para darle un toque diferente al personaje y que no solo fuese un retrato y ya.

For the color in the drawing, what I did was take the color palette from the original character so I wouldn't have to struggle so much in that regard. I start by adding the base color for the skin, and after that, I add the base colors for each element in the drawing. After that, I start adding details to the entire drawing.
Para el color en el dibujo, lo que hice fue tomar la paleta de color del personaje original para no batallar tanto en ese aspecto. Comienzo agregando el color base de la piel y luego de eso, voy agregando los colores base de cada elemento en el dibujo. Después de eso, lo que hago es comenzar a detallar todo el dibujo.

I focused on working on the drawing with lots of light, since my overall vision was to do it in the dark and have the flower contained in the sphere or magic crystal that I was holding in my hand. The character is a somewhat magical composition. I finished the illustration by adding the final details such as the background and some sparkles, and that's it, friends, that's all there is to it.
Enfoque el dibujo a trabajarlo con mucho luz, ya que mi visión general era hacerlo en la oscuridad y que la flor que estaba contenida en la esfera o cristal mágico que sostenía en la mano. Es una composición un tanto mágico el personaje. Termino la ilustración agregando los detalles finales como el fondo y algunos brillos y listo amigos, eso seria todo.
